I'm not so much into her music (though it's very good, I just dont get into too much of it), but I love her. The episode where she and Thom Yorke were guests on Space Ghost Coast to Coast is my favorite of all time.

I've not seen that. I think she looks dead sexy in the Play Dead video. <3

It's pretty easy to find on peer to peer services (like SoulSeek and LimeWire). If you wanna download it, the episode is called Knifin' Around. It's hilarious.

I used to be a very big fan of hers, I've even seen her live in concert a couple of years back.
She's great, although you easily get bored of her.
I do like her voice very much, she has an incredible vocal range, whispering to this emotional outbrake, stunning and so ORIGINAL.

My favorite tracks are:

01. Hidden Place
02. Hyperballad
03. Cocoon
04. New World
05. Pagan Poetry
06. Possibly Maybe
07. Oceania
08. Hunter
09. All Neon Like
10. Isobel

Bjork is awesome, and is one of my top favorite female vocalists. Originality and talent can go a long way, and she's proof of that.

My favorite songs of hers would be Play Dead, All Is Full of Love, 99 Red Balloons (cover song), Army of Me, Big Time Sensuality, Human Behavior, Violently Happy, Submarine, Pagan Poetry, and It's Oh So Quiet.

Some of her songs are truly excellent. Unfortunately, I cannot stand her voice. If her vocals were to be replaced with someone who can - dare I say it - actually sing, then I'd definitely buy the albums.

Yes, Björk is an acquired taste.
But saying that Björk can't sing is just outrageous!!

I've been wanting to listen to Bjork lately. I've heard she's good and unique. Which CD do you think is the best overall and best vocally by her?

Her "Greatest Hits" album is a good way to start. (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00006F852/qid=1114720671/sr=2-5/ref=pd_bbs_b_2_5/102-1360003-9464961)
Listen to the sounds bits.

Personally Vespertine is my favorite album. (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00005NG4X/qid=1114720671/sr=1-2/ref=sr_1_2/102-1360003-9464961?v=glance&s=music)

I love the woman....she's got some WEIRD videos! I love her music, especially "Human Behavior" and "It's Oh So Quite", which has one of the best music videos ever. :D

Oh, and I love the video of her beating the crap out of a news reporter when they pissed her off (real video, not music video). :<3:

Yeah and all the poor reporter woman said was: "Welcome to Thailand" and then Björk went crazy ape on her. ;_;

Björk's later statement was this: "I am truly sorry, but China's dry air affected my voice".

All this happened during her Asian tour in mid-90's.

I've been wanting to listen to Bjork lately. I've heard she's good and unique. Which CD do you think is the best overall and best vocally by her? You should either go for the Greatest Hits album, or Debut. But that is my opinion, I feel that Debut is the best album. But you can decide yourself. If you want to listen to some of her songs then click just here. (http://cdzinc.com/32K/rock/A_B/bjork.html)

I actually have a little GIF with Björk attacking the poor reporter woman. You don't mind if I steal that do you? :p

I think of it as more of a 'Poor Bjork' than poor reporter woman. I mean she just gets off a plane from a long journey & some stupid b***h is hassling (sp?) her. :p

Bjork is lovely. Original and beautiful, she blends Modernism with Nature and thus is a star.

2. Undo
3. Hyper-Ballad
4. Play Dead
5. Joga
6. Who Is It
7. Oceania
8. Alarm Call (Again: The Video One, not the one on Homogenic)
9. It's In Our Hands
10. Human Behavior
