Have you ever been on TV?

I may be on British television soon, for reasons which I have to keep to myself. (Nothing bad, but my parents don't want people knowing about it, and neither do the program people) Anyways, has anybody ever been on TV? If so, why, and what was it like?

Been on once on the pride of Britain awards where this bloke went to my school to talk about the dangers of testicular cancer, and a few of us were picked to go talk to him while being filmed, me being one of the lucky ones :(
Was good in the end though - despite the program being amiably entitled "Know Your Balls - Check 'Em Out!!", it really opened my eyes to how unfunny the whole affair is. Top notch :)

I was once filmed in the back ground when the "BeeB" came to my school because we were so good at raising charity money, i forgot to watch it though :choc:

I've been on more than a few times, and it's an interesting process. Be prepared for it to take a while to shoot if you're doing something for an actual TV show and nto for the local news or current events.

I've just had the unfortunate, or fortunate if you like, luck of being in several places where people are filming and either being outspoken about something to the point where they ask me to talk in front of the camera or where I somehow appealed to what they were trying to do.

Well, maybe that didn't actually happen. But I have been on TV a few times, mainly for academics (quiz bowl and the like).

and my dad was in this thing called Surprise Chef where him and these artists had to cook up stuff and the Chef (guy with the dumb mussstttashe) had to choose who won.
one of the clips is on that TV blunders thing because the Chef kept forgetting his lines! xD
so my dads been on TV about 4 times witht the same thing! xD

We went on a school trip to Birmingham once. Anyway, while we were there some headcase got upset, climbed up some scaffolding and threw down scaffolding poles onto people down below, and through the window of a police car. We all gathered around the police car when the local news were there and we appeared at the back for about 3 seconds, and we were really small.

And no, the headcase was not me. :D

I was an audience in american idol. it wasnt me on tv, but they showed me a lot in the audience, because I sat right beind the judges, and they showed me and a friend a lot.. :P Other than that, I've been on the radio some, I used to read competitions when I was a kid.
