In or out?

Do you think a smilie should be placed inside of the full stop, or outside of it? I'm sure alot of people will agree with the latter option.

Example:

There was a man caught trying to hack his own head off :eek: !!

Rappers think they can make music. :rolleyes2

I think the latter really is suited better.

Because if I have a ^_^ or something, I usually just skip punctuationxD

Unless it needs something useful, like a question mark, or multiple exclamations.
In that case, they go outside of punctuation. Punctuation must be next to words^_^
