What if Final Fantasy ended?

Let's just say that the Final Fantasy series ended after say, Final Fantasy XII(God forbid that it won't), what will you do? What do you think will happen to the gaming industry? Will it affect it in any way?

As for me, I will cry if the FF series ended lol. I've been there with Final Fantasy since the beginning and I've spent so many years playing the games, listening to the music and Role Playing the characters that a part of me will be lost. What will I have to look forward to in the future? Nothing, the FF series is pretty much the only RPG series that I really enjoy. I'm sure a lot of other people out there feel the same way as I do about this subject, we all know it will happen one day though, we just don't know when.

Well, I'd be disappointed that there'd be no chance I'd ever enjoy a *new* FF again. But that seems to be the case as is anyway, considering I haven't been the happiest with the last few releases I've played. And 12 doesn't look to re-inspire me either. I'd be happy they lived such a long and rich life. But I'd consider it a full life. I'd rather them end before they hit 20... or maybe right on 20. The name just seems so rediculous. FFXIX I can understand. But FF20 just sounds weird... 21 is just a no-go. There ARE other games out there. There ARE better games out there. I'm not much of a gamer as is, but my gaming life is certainly not hinged on FF. Especially not these days

I was very much on topic. That would be my reaction if Final Fantasy ended. There are plenty of other good game makers out there, I don't have to rely only on Final Fantasy for my RPG fix.

Tetris is not a game with a deep storyline, interesting characters, and multiple sidequests that would keep people talking about it. Besides, with the way this world is I don't doubt there is one out there.

In a way I wouldn't be that bothered, because its not like its a big part of my life, but in another I guess I would be pretty pissed as I've been playing the games since I was about 8.
I think they need to start making decent games again though, because from where I am in FFX-2, It seems pretty shizzle, but I guess I haven't played the full game yet...
