I got this idea after to talking to someone on MSN, an dI said this saying we use at home and they are like huh?

I was wondering if you guys have any weird sayings that you use that you want to share. Sorry if there is already a thread like this.

"Whatever turns your crank"-Though it may seem weird to you, do it if it makes you happy.

Well being from the "mean" streets of Grimsby, the phrase you hear the most here is,
"F**king starting? I'll A've Ya!"

Nice place to raise the kids. :p

People from Belfast speak really fast, and for some reason (maybe the tones) outsiders always think we're starting a fight. Most of our own sayings are based around already famous swear words that we have adopted and added to.

'Suffering F**k'
'Don't Talk A Lotta 'Ol D*ck'

We have taken the English word 'Bollox' and, as our accent raises the tone of vowels we say
'Ballicks'
Another one is taking the well known words 'Sh*t' and 'P*ss' and morphing it thus;
'Don't talk Sh*te' (Pronounced Shyte)
'That movie was P*sh

We also tend to add words at the end of sentences that really, truely are not needed or don't belong

'Do you know what I mean, Like?'
And
'We didn't stand a chance there were only to of us, just'

In the Northern part of Ireland, because of our links with Scotland, we too say 'wee' a lot. It primarily denotes something of small stature or time but can invade any sentence the speaker sees fit quite freely.

'Giz a wee bit o' your spud'
'Aw you're a wee star'
'I'm a wee bit drunk'

When someone is happy about something he may shout/say a word you don't expect.
'Ticket!'
'Sweet!'

Lastly the ultimate praise on a friend is to call him 'the Da'.

'You're the f**kin' Da kid'

There's more but meh.

"Suffer in ya' jocks!"

"G'day mate!"

"Cheers."

" Whatever tickles ya fancies."

"Ya' D*ck'ead!"

I can't think of any others right now.
