About exercise.

2 years ago I was able to touch my toes stretching with ease. Now I struggle to touch them.

I forgot what I did, but is there like a set of exercises I can do that enhances flexibility? I still haven't been able to do splits.

The only thing I know that you can do is keep stretching. Keep trying to touch your toes and keep trying to do splits and hold it there :) When I was in ballet (for many years ! x.X) I was so flexible but I lost most of it, now.

I have no idea. Unfortunately, I've never been able to touch my toes.

Cut off your toes and keep them in a jar. Then you can touch them whenever you want without having to exercise. Problem solved.

I have never had much flexibility with my vertebra, although my arms and legs are quite flexible.

I don't play any sports which require flexibility in my back, all the sports I play only require arm and leg flexibility, except the occasional climbing section while hiking.

It doesn't seem intensely neccessary unless involved in an acrobatically straining sport.

Bend your knees.

as with anything, its just regular practice. do stretches every day and in a few weeks time you should have regained flexibility, the body adapts quickly.

Bend your knees.
That's just WRONG!
Keep on stretching, that's the only way.

Nod said it - a stretch routine every day that lists around 20 mins will have you more flexible in a few weeks.

do that little thing where you sit on the floor with your legs spread apart a ways, and go back and forth touching them.

or just stand for about five minutes trying to touch your toes everyday.

I can't remember not being able to touch mine, yey.

(another solution would be to lose any gut you may have, so it won't get in the way and use up more of your length!:D)

I can put my hands flat on the ground when reaching to touch my toes, without bending my knees. I'm quite flexible though. Almost to the point of being double-jointed.

Blowdry your hair upside down every morning and you'll be touching your toes in no time. :)

I've always been able to touch my toes, and put my foot behind my head too.
It's weird since I don't really have the figure to do such stuff.

I could always wriggle into everything - car windows, lockers. My spine practically isn't there. I can put both feet behind my head and walk on my hands.
I NEVER excersise. It's a sin! :skull2:
If you want to do some excersise, go dancing!
