Not really looking forward to the game, but I decided to look for trailers to see what I could find.

The first on the list is much better than the second, so I suggest you only watch that. Anyway, here you go.

Looks pretty sweet. Can't wait to play it.
Although, since Square is a predominantly rpg company, I won't be surprised if this game has bad controls and aiming.I hope they nail it though!!

looks pretty bland for an FF series. It's not really within the Final Fantasy genre if you get what i mean.
It looks good, but not for an FF...

I think its cool that Square has decided to try other genres within the realm of FF7. Sure die hard RPG player will knock it, but I have confidence it will be a good game. I'm not a fan of action games or FPS. Even KH was too actiony for me, but it was a damn good game. The closest I get to action games is Star Ocean or Secret of Mana. If DoC turns out half as good as KH, and is similar in its game style (which It appears to be quasi-action like KH was) I'm sure we'll love it.

Looks interesting...I will prolly pick it up and play it and hopefully it will be as good as the other FF games...
