Forum Jump

I think it would be a brilliant idea to put a 'forum jump' bar at the top of each forum page as well as the bottom.

Is this a possibility? :D :D

Or is there as much chance of it happening as there is of Liverpool winning the Champions League? :eek: :eek:

It would require a few template modifications. Threadbit, postbit, USERCP, FORUMHOME, etc.

I've never really used forum jump... (maybe once or twice a few years ago)

If it's something that is calculated once, then it would be easy to add it to the top of the forums as well as the bottom. But if it requires vB to generate the jumpbox html 2 times, then it would be a big waste of server resources.

yeah, i can see that the necessity of having a forum jump bar at the top is negated by the fact that you can click on the links.

or scroll down....

Im just really lazy and don't like scrolling down. especially if ive just scrolled up, and then i have to scroll down again. If I use the links at the top it means jumping to the main index page, then to the forum i want- which is annoying cos my computer's pretty slow.
