PlayStation 9! LOL

I remember this commercial back from when the PS2 was about to come out. It was set in the future (2078) and talked about all the amazing/(scary) things the PS9 would have. I hadn't seen that commercial ever since I saw it on TV that first time back in 2000... Until today! =3
Anyway, I found it! Along with more information about the commercial than I even wanted to know! xD

I can't help but think about the 'brain beam' Sony patented recently when I see this! lol

Among the features of the PS9 is 'Mind Controll'! C_C I don't want that!! XD Personally, I'm ok with the idea of Sony using a 'brain beam' to send sensory entertainment to my brain, that would be cool... but mind control? >_<
The other features sounded cool enough... 'Telepathic personal music'? x3

I think, at the rate that Sony has released systems, I'd expect PS9 to be out around 2020... lol But of course I don't expect it to be like this. XD

Chances are the 'brain beam' won't be used for games at first, or for a long time. Sony does a lot more than video games, remember? Probably start out with low ranged movie players shooting into your mind, or something.

Ironic is: the PS9 coming out in 2078.
Reality is: the PS9, even if it last that long, should come out at around 2035. A traditional console cycle is 4-6 years.

Although, with the way technology progresses, I would expect the rate of consoles to come out, will change a bit.
Still, I would be doubtfull that they'd even go to 9.
