geez calm down

sources (i mean like square enix) sources say it'll be around 70 minutes...most likely longer though, just as you presume...and i hope it is longer as well

yea me too because how much of a story can you tell in just 70 minutes....

i hope it's longer, it deserves to be longer. you can't tell an FF7 story in just 70 mins....that's ridiculous..

although, i think it's gonna be a total sell out. as soon as it's in the cinema, i'm there.

i have heard rumours that the movie would have been too long to be put out into the cinemas....w00t?! i very much doubt it

That's and hour and 10 minutes. Most likely 10 of those minutes would be reserved for the opening and ending credits.

I kinda wouldn't be suprised if it was a 20 minute long credit sequence.

Longass movies make the box office. Short and stubby movies get shafted.

Actually 70 minutes is about the average for movie now. Movies these days are short, but seriously, I want this movie to be longer then 70 minutes, Sqaure loves making big story lines, and telling one is 70 min. will feel rushed. And then the credits.. yeah, this movie will be rushed...

there might have to be a short breif summary of the events of ff7 at the start

Well, I heard it will not be in the Cinemas at all beacause it is only a small talk movie, basically, only Final fantsay fans know about it. Can you remeber what happened to Final Fantasy:The spirits Within? It wasnt really much of a money maker for Square now was it, so this will turn out the same, so i dont think they will be relesing it into the Cinema. The only Cinemas they are relesing it in is Japanese ones because FF:spirits within was a hit success i think there!

Advent Children WILL NOT be released in theatres. It is a direct-to-DVD release... sorry to burst your bubbles..Latest I heard was that with the length of the film growing toward the end they were considering an extremely limited theatrical release. I don't think any final word has been said. I'm not expecting it but it would sure be nice to see it at the Arclight.
