How old was the main characters during VII? I lost my little booklet, so I'm clueless lol. I need:

Cloud
Tifa
Barret
Sephiroth
Cid

If anyone could post them, I'd appreciate it.

Cloud: 21
Tifa: 20
Aerith: 22
Barret: 35
Cid: 32
Nanaki/Red XIII: 48
Reeve (Cait Sith): Unknown
Yuffie: 16
Vincent: His body bears the youth it had at 27, though he would technically be in the area of 55-57 years old.

Sephiroth: In the area of 23-25 during the Nibelheim mission; his body is approximately 28-30 years old during the game's present.

(Note: The approximations of Vincent and Sephiroth's ages are based on Elder Bugah's statement that it had been some 30 years since Gast discovered JENOVA.)

It's been a few months since I played this game. Can you tell me approximately how long Vincent was locked up in the coffin?

Wasn't Nanaki 14 in human years or something? Bugenhagen says this in his pad in the Canyon

I think it was 16 not 14... I believe in human years him and yuffie were the same age.

No, he was 48 in human years. In the age of his race (which, at the momment I have forgotten) he is 14-16.

And as for Vincent, technically he is 27 because his body never ages, but he's really about 57.

It was 15-16. I just got done replaying that part. Where is everyone getting that Vincent is actually 57?

Vincent was shot and experimented on by Hojo when he was 27. This was about the time Sephiroth was born. 30 years later, the event of the game take place,(since Sephiroth is 30 at this point) and Vincent joins the party. So, obviously, he would be around 57.

So lets hear it for Nanaki, the old man of the group!

Vincent... is the old men of the group

and the number of years that he sleep is equal to the age of Sepheroth

There is no god.

Well said. (though were the "there is no god" statement came from i dont know)

I was refering to the age in experience terms though. Vincent maybe older but over half were spent asleep. Though i do see the validity of your response. Of course it must also be said that more experiences does not neccesarily translate into better experiences. Vincent's past seems much more filled with character building choices and situations than Nanaki's, and even though hes really only a 27 year old mentaly (i know that point is arguable, but lets asume the 30 year sleep theory) its still better than the 15 or 16 year old mental capacity of Nanaki.

My statement could also refer to the age of the body they have to function with, but i suppose in rebuttle to my own point, Nanaki's body only feels like 15 or 16 to hinself....

Whats the point of disagreeing with anyone. I already disagree with myself enough

I disagree...

even though Nanaki's REAL AGE is 15-16... but his human(years) age is 48.... that mean he got 48 years to experience humanity... something is wrong?

in term of age.... Vincent > Nanaki
but actually Nanaki is older then Vincent in wisdom & knowledge

come on 48 > (57 - Sepheroth's age)

Well i think what Brugohagen(ack.. my spelling) said was that "that is like a 15-16 year old human" I always took it that it meant that was where his "mental" development was at, even if "physically" he is 48. Sorta like Vincent is physically 57 but "mentally" 27(for the sleep theory), though life experiences could of course affect "mental" age.

meh.. just how I took it. meaning oldest mentally, unless vincent's experience popped him up(or that nanaki's mental devolopment is much further along then 15-16, he does appear to be further along then Yuffie), would be Barret or Cid.
