He means that without school we'd all be stupid and uneducated. :D And he's right. I like school, sometimes it's a pain, but yeah. It's necessary. :)

Edit// Oh, he explained it much better than I. xDDDD

how do u miss schoolBy not being there... Same as you can miss anything else...

I like school, learning is all good fun, as long as you're interested in what you're learning. Otherwise it's very boring. But I'm at Sixth Form, that's diferent from school. :greenie:

If it wasn't for school everyone'd be like Tracy who lives on the council esate. That is why school is good.

There's this assumption that you have to have an education to be successful in life, they're wrong.
I'm not in school, and I don't tend to go back anytime soon;
working hard at the convenience store is an honest way of living.
Plus there's nothing wrong with cleaning toilets it gets you by, doesn't it, Puppet Meat?

There's this assumption that you have to have an education to be successful in life, they're wrong.I agree with you there. In some cases it's not what you know, but who you know.

But good grades cah help! :greenie:

Though I believe that education extends far beyond in the classroom, yeah I think a formal education is neccessary to get ahead in society nowadays - so yes, I do enjoy school.

After three months of work I can unequivacably say I'm seriously looking forward to getting back into education. Full-time work is soul destroying. School in comparison is a walk in the park.

Hate it, work wise. Love it people wise. High School dosen't teach you anything besides learning how to hand in homework on time.

The only thing I hate is that it's time-consuming and then I don't have time to study and play games at the same time. :(

I don't like school, but that is generally because the teachers in it are useless, and because the teachers only like the kids that are clones/perfect, in which I'm not. I learn more from reading from a textbook.

I'm not saying that I don't learn, because I do; but there is certain teachers in my school that I actually learn nothing from. Maybe it's just the lack of decent teachers around these days.

Plus, my school thinks that everything revolves around appearance, perfect uniform and no jewelery. But as I don't comply to that, as I want to be unique, all of a sudden this makes me a bad student. When really, I'm not. Teachers/the school should be encouraging students originality, instead of trying to make everybody look like clones; because I have a nose-stud, I got threatened to be kicked out of school, surely is that fair? [I didn't as my mum went into the school, and stated the fact that IF I was a member of a certain religion then I would have to wear a nose-stud(which I'm not), but rules cant apply to some people and then not others.]

Also what really pisses me off is all the coursework we get outside of school, I go to school for 7 hours a day, I don't really expect to come home and then have to work for more hours, and THEN handle a working job to make money at the same time. I quit my job partly because of this, as I really wasn't getting any me time, and I suffering from a serious lack of sleep.

However, I enjoy school because of the social side, and the fact that I want to get good qualifications so that I can get a good job, afterall, basically my whole life has been leading up to my final exams, so I'm not going to go and smurf it up.

People who runs schools are liars and hypocrites. But as I don't want to work in Burger King, I tolerate it. I just wish the administrators and the teachers didn't suck.

I no longer go to school...but the learning is far from over. I like the real world so much more than the school world. Fewer dip/xxx.gif/xxx.gif/xxx.gif/xxx.gifs to deal with is the biggest draw for me. There are still dip/xxx.gif/xxx.gif/xxx.gif/xxx.gifs...just fewer of them.

I like it.

I enjoy going to school, I enjoy learning and I like excelling at stuff.

And no, I'm not a geek.

At my school we have really good teachers who atchally give a damn about your education. Most of the students are receptive too, as it's a grammar school.
I'm in the 6thform and it's a really good atmosphere. I'm going to be leaving in a month or so though. Off into the big wide world....of art college. From one institution to the next hehe.

I think you should just ride school, don't fight it, cos you gotta go. Might as well enjoy it.

Well, since I don't live near any of my friends, there's a plus right there.

Also, I like all but one my teachers, and even the one I don't like is okay. I don't mind it, and on good days I like it.

My school is on the computer at the moment and it's hard to get any work done when there are so many other things that could be done on it. I like learning, that part never really goes away for anyone even though they think that they are done with learning once they leave school, but I never really cared for actually going to school. :cat:

2% deducted for every day that an assignment is late and zero for one week late is quite motivating. :)
