Well, I love RPG's. And I have a friend. Yes, I'm an RPG's player AND I have friends. Well, this friend of mine wants to play an RPG. Well, he didn't said so, but he'd played a lot of MMORPG's, and I KNOW he would love RPG's. Sooo, any RPG for a starter?

Let's see... I'd suggest Xenogears. Need something addictive or enthralling. And XG is deffinitely enthralling. As for addictive RPGs... If he's got a Sega Saturn I'd vote Dragon Force. But I've heard Brigandine for PS1 is nice too. Sorry I can't suggest anything recent. 'Cause any recent RPG I've played has sucked in comparison to olden days. Xenosaga doesn't compare to Xenogears. FFX doesn't compare to FF6. Etc...

Wha? It's not that short, though no where near as long as your typical FF. Go out and play it, it's great.

As for RPG, I'd definitely say Chrono Trigger would be a good starter.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It's not really an RPG, but it is frickin' sweet. And if he doesn't go for that, then try something like Lunar 1 or 2. And if he wants another MMORPG, try Ragnarok Online or FFXI, which is better.

well right now i bought ARC THE LAD COLLECTION and im havin one of the best times since i beat FF7

THeres three games in this that all were released in japan but only was released here cuz of workin designs (they translate games) and well all the three games are contuations of the last one

These games are the best ever!! Sure the first one isnt all that great but belive me it only takes 10 hours to beat the first one but when u play the 2nd one ull be in RPG heaven....

The 2nd one is atleast 50 hours

This collection is kinda rare but hell if u can find it BUY THIS GAME!!

Well, thanks! There are two you didn't mentioned:
Magic Knight Rayearth, the girly-anime RPG (Anime girls RULZ, however),
and EVO: Search For Eden, which is great, easy and good-looking (I get orgasm from watching my new body adter I buy it).
