Right. If you were to be stranded on a desert isle, and could take ten albums with you (and a solar powered CD player, natch), which ten would they be?

For me:

Gomez - Bring It On
Powderfinger - Vulture Street
Jeff Buckley - Grace
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - Abbatoir Blues/Lyre of Orpheus
Muddy Waters - Hard Again
The Lemonheads - It's A Shame About Ray
Pearl Jam - Vs
Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion - Plastic Fang
Dire Straits - Sultans of Swing (The Very Best of Dire Straits)

I'd be happy enough just to have a solar powered CD player.

Hmmmmm, that's tough:

Evanescence - Fallen
Evanescence - Origin
System of a Down - Steal this Album!
System of a Down - Toxicity
System of a Down - System of a Down
Nightwish - Century Child
Christina Aguilera - Stripped
Tori Amos - Scarlet Walk
A Perfect Circle - Thirteenth Step
The CD my friend burned for me with rare Evanescence songs on it. :)

I'd take a large inflatable boat-shaped CD, a large oar-shaped CD and 8 books-on-CD about navigation, maps, and survival at sea.

Some popular stuff, mostly things only I would probabaly have heard of, which is why I'd enjoy them more stuck on an island; I'm sure any costal land mass would probably catch the Top 40 blasting from some boat going by or from some rigged up coconut radio anyway, so:

The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Greenday - American Idiot
Ashley MacIssac - Hi How Are You Today?
Francoise Hardy - Le Temps De L'amour
Nobuo Uematsu - 02-20-2002 Final Fantasy Concert
The GCs - Legend of the Lost Pitchpipe
Clan Du - Black White and Shades of Green
DDE - Industrial Music Suite
Black Flamenco - Wanderlust
Alanis Morrisette - Jagged Little Pill

Feeder - Seven Days in the Sun

You do know those 2 were singles releases, and not albums?
