If you had to form a band with the best rock stars living or dead, who would they be????

Frontman- Trent Resner(NIN)/ Ville Valo(HIM)/ Josh Homme(QOTSA)
Lead Guitarist- Slash(GNR)
Rythm Guitarist- Brian May(Queen)
Bassist- Flea(RHCP)
Drummer- Dave Grohl(Foo Fighters, QOTSA, Tenacious D, Probot)

Singer: The singer from Europe best heard on "The Final Countdown"
Lead / rhythm guitarist: Jimmy Page
Bassist: Flea
Drummer: John Dolmayan (I don't like System of a Down, but John is a brilliant drummer)

What a weird combination...

Pure Strife

Vocals: Trent Reznor
Lead: Slash
Rythm: Jerry Cantrell
Bass: Thingy, from Soundgarden. You know, whassisname.
Drums: That guy from Death, on their later albums.

That'd make a hell of a band. Reznor, Cantrell and thingy-from-Soundgarden could put out some awesome stuff on their own, add a few nice over-indulgent Slash solos and some off the wall drumming, and it'd rock.

Vocals: Georgij Alexandrowitsch Makazaria
Acoustic guitar and Vocals: Jochen Stock
Electric guitar: Alex Krull
Electric guitar: Andy Classen

Piano: Tobias Hahn
Violin: 2T (I have no idea what her real name is)
Saz, Buzuki and Oud: Yossi Saharon
Bagpipes and Flutes: Eric Fisch
Steel pipes and other metal objects: Jürgen Engler

That would be very interesting.

Vocals: Either Freddie Mercury (Queen) or Jim Morrison (The Doors)
Lead Guitar: Jimi Hendrix (if you don't know who Jimi Hendrix is, you deserve a slap in the face)
Bass: Roger Waters (Pink Floyd) or John Entwistel (The Who)
Keyboards: Rick Wright (Pink Floyd)
Drums: Ringo Starr (the Beatles)

Jack

Singer/s: Anna Lynne-Williams (Trespassers William) & Trent Reznor (NIN)
Lead Guitarist- Billy Corgan (The Smashing Pumpkins)
Rhythm Guitarist- Charlottle Hatherley (Ash)
Bassist- Flea (RHCP)
Drummer- Ringo Starr (The Beatles)

I can see it now, an heavenly "ahh" from Anna Lynne, shattered by Trent's nail like voice. Billy's self-indulgent Grunge solos over a Poppy Rhythm (courtesy of Ms Hatherley). Some, Funky Bass beats by Flea over some steady drumming by Mr Starr.

I don't think Page and Hendrix would work that well together. They were/are too individualistic.

Otherwise known as one of the 'lucky drummers'. The Rolling Stones chap is another example, though he's a bit better

True, but Charlie Watt's doubled as their accountant. Apparently, the reason he looked so deadpan was that he would count the members of the audience to figure out how much they'd make from ticket sales!

Bass - Nick Oliveri (QOTSA)
Drums - Travis (Blink182, The Transplants)
