Hey,
Should i buy this game, and is it any different from other Final fantasys?
and is it better?

Very different from every other game, apart from Tactics (apparantly, I haven't played Tactics yet) If you have played Tactics and like it, get FFTA. But don't compare the two. I think it is a really good game, probably the best on Gameboy, although DoS is very good too! (Got that a few days ago for my b'day!) I love the game, and suggest you get it. I actually had lower expectations for it, but it was so much better than I thought. Buy it!

It's a very good game, so go ahead and buy it.

It's story seems a little more childish than most FF's so don't go in expecting to get a deeply serious story.
It's a very fun game to have if you've got a lot of time to kill.

I not sure about that. I think that the story is much deeper than it seems at first glance.

The gameplay style is that of a standard tactical RPG, such as Final Fantasy Tactics, Shining Force, or Fire Emblem, with a few tweaks thrown in, such as the law system. If you enjoy that type of game, I would definitely suggest this one.

Anyway, so this isn't off topic and I get in trouble, I agree with Skyblade. Was it the "would you want to go home?" thread which had a whole debate between Skyblade and Tailz about something about the plot and stuff like that. Funny stuff!

Yes. Unfortunately that thread is now gone (sigh), so it is probably only a matter of time before we can reenact that highly enjoyable...discussion (debate, arguement, civilized conversation, whatever you want to call it).

Maybe we could create an official FFTA plot thread to keep around all the time... That thread was so much fun. :D

yes its to bad that thread was gone although i was being pounded into the ground but it whas fun and its jsut a matter of time till a new debate occurs and will have fun again :D

oh and there is a deep story in ffta really you just have to dig deep for it

If something is "deep", it usually implies that one has to dig for it, doesn't it..? (Unless we're talking sports, in which case it refers to going downfield) :D
