Hey - I've wondered this for a long time and since I went to an Anime Convention with lots of cosplayers there yesterday, I wanna know whether anyone knows where I can get a life-size gunblade? I know a few people make their own gunblades but lately I've seen the exact same one - does anyone know if they are being sold - if so where, and how much?

Any info would be greatly appreciated :D

There are probably cosplay stores that sell fake models online, if you request, but I hope you're not looking for a real gunblade. ^____^

Get the biggest revolver you can, saw the chamber off, then weld the biggest blade you can find onto the end. Load it up with Incendary rounds and "pull L1 to trigger!"

Not exactly a store but there some there if you're looking for one and maybe they could even help you find a store that sells them.

there is actually an add that flashes up once in a while here on EoFF for a gunblade replica. it sells for $25.00, or so it's advertised.

I have a gunblade! But it's not an actual gunblade, it's actually called a hunting sword. You're meant to shoot those little furry animals with it in the Fox Hunt. The blade is just there to incite the "CHARGE!"

I have a gunblade that is made of wood, it's the most accurate one I've seen if I do say so myself. ^_^ Anyway, a lot of work went into making it, too much to make another that way. So, I decided to check into casting and it looks promising. One problem... the cost of getting started. Once I get the mold made, and find out how much resin each takes to make, the cost per gunblade would be rather reasonable.

Considering it would be made out of a very hard resin, I was thinking selling them for about $200-$250 depending on cost to make. A bit much, yes, but the quality and accuracy would be worth it. Anyone interested in donating money to help me get things going? Just kidding. (Unless you really want to ^_^ )

I have two gunblades. Both are real. I had them costum-made and it cost me about $400,000 (don't worry about were I got the money from). It took a long time but it was worth it. The first one is made with steel hard for me to pick up but fun to look at. The second one was for me. It is made with the kind of steel made with a watch. Not that hard to wield. It's only as big as my arm (which is 2"11). I also have a sword (you probably wouldn't believe me) which as long as Sephiroth's sword. About 8"9.

I don't want to sound as though I don't believe you outright, but folks understandably are going to be suspicious of this claim. I mean... it's quite a claim.

Of course, display pictures of the weapons, up-close detailed shots, as well as some of you holding them would go great lengths toward removing any doubts.

I realize the trigger guard and cut out in the middle of the blade need to be re-done. I'll have to change that.
