We're/are Queen overrated?

I dont think they are. As a live performer there is only one Freddie Mercury. My hats off to Paul Rodger's for not trying to imitate him.
Granted some of their songs were poo, but most long running bands make some rubbish records every now and then. I think they made more great songs than bad ones though.

The fact remains that Queen we're and probably still are more fun than anyone else.

Whats everyone else think?

I'm not a huge fan of theirs, but out of all of that style of bands of the era, I've always held the most respect for Queen. Just something about them that stands out above the rest.

Queen are truly one of the greatest things to come out of Great Britain, the first tape i ever bought was Queen's Live Magic when i was a mere 6 years old :choc:

As you said, there is only one Freddie Mercury.

I don't think Queen are overrated at all, and I love listening to their masterpieces.
