War Gongs you get by stealing from Behomeths.

Earth Mallets are randomly dropped when you defeat Gigas in the Crater, near the ice caverns. Can't be stolen and the drop rate is low.

You can tell that I went on the same quest. ;)

I actually got 18 Earth Mallets before someone pointed out that all you need is one which you can duplicate using W-Item. :mad:

One at the Sector 7 tower, another in the mythril mines, another in the ruined city, one in the downed gelnika, one a contest between Tifa and what's her name *can't remember*, one at icicle inn (you just move out of their way) & then the final battle at Midgar in the subway just before you enter the shinra tower. (however I think it's optional.)

Actually, there are two yellow 'objects' worth 200 points. Long after the boulder (this is even after the 1000 pt. UFO and the last few obvious targets), a light along the side of the track can be shot for an additional 200 points.

2. Upper Junon > Experts Hall
3. City of Ancients > Behind the 3rd bed
4. Chocobo Sages house > Talk to green chocobo

and i dont believe enemy skill materia duplicates....least i never had more than four and i always fill all four of mine...

that is imposible as there is a skill that you can only learn in cosmo canyon (the place where nanaki's farther is) and that is the only place you can learn it. i am sure there are others but thats all i can think of right now.

death sentence can be learnt there....which can also be learnt in wutai...outside wutai....northern crater etc.....

learning all the enemy skills doesn't "master" the materia as such, you don't gaina new one for doing so, I've done it before.

The word 'obtain' threw me off. You can buy the Mythril Sword from Kalm but if you mean obtain as in receive from someone else or find in a treasure chest somewhere etc., then it's the Force Stealer from Junon, Rufus gives it to you.

EDIT: * I just found out that I'm wrong on both counts. In the interest of fairness and equality and all that other good stuff, I'll give others a chance to get the answer right before I correct myself.

1) You can get the Cursed Ring when Cloud, Tifa or Cid are the team leader. You need to enter Mideel before it gets destroyed, walk onto the first bridge section, listen for the 'clink' to the right of the house on the far left. Press 'O' to investigate and obtain the Beaten-Up Key. Go into the house on the right-hand side of the first bridge section and examine the door. You will then have the option to use the key, but it will become stuck. Choose the option to force the key. It will break and the owner will ask you what happened. Explain that you forced the key and it broke. He will laugh and explain the door is not real, merely a painting to represent the afterlife. For your troubles he will give you the Cursed Ring.

2) Steal it from Ultima WEAPON i) when you battle it before the Lifestream breaks through, ii) when chasing it in the Highwind and it hovers over Mideel.
