Actually, Europe gets the full versions with all the cool stuff, like FFX with all the dark aeons and such, which us Americans don't get, so I'd hardly say they hate you.

so far it looks like square is concentrating its dear time to FFVII compilations and FFXII will be worked on after the other projects are done

Yep, that's the latest release date I've heard too.

Unfortunately when the new trailer was shown at the PS3 press conference at E3, it was stated that it would be released in the 2006 fiscal year. Of course, I don't know when Square-Enix begins their fiscal year, so it could still be a winter 2005 release. Anyone know about that?

Apparently, the most recent date I have heard is Summer 2005 for Japan and TBA 2005 for US. But there is NO chance for this. It is most likely Christmas 2005 for Japan and Summer (hopefully earlier) 2006 for US. And Europe, HA. The PS3 will be out before FFXII comes out in Europe.

I went to www.ffxii.com (which I am thinking/hoping is the official site) and I went into Babelfish and translated some and it came out as this:

europeans usually get the updated, COOLER versions of the game for being such good sports about things. (over here in teh states, we get things WAY earlier than they do ;))

EDIT:i too heard of a winter 2005 release, in some trailer or something along those lines. something official, i kno that much.

The end of the fiscal year is on April. So if it is before the end of the fiscal year then it is before April, so March is a good guess as well as Christmas time.
