History: Rutan is the last Glorina alive as his mom died when he was born and his dad was killed by a fiend. Rutans weapon "Excalibur" was pulled from the stone by his great X 7 grandfather Zutan Glorina and has been passed down in the family for generations and fell upon Rutan when his dad died.

This skin is covered by thick plated armor,said to have been forged in the fires of Hell and cooled in the river Styx. Fear causes the trembling to say alot of things. The armor appears to be one piece from helmet to toe,with the horns of two black unicorns protruding...one from each side. These, it is believed,give the armor a protective shield of magical power. The heads of his most challenging opponents hang from a belt around his waist. Currently, there are only two such trophies, for out of the thousands slain, only two have proven to be worthy opponents. This is an honor that none hope to be awarded.

*I look out of the door to the town, I feel a strange turn of events will come. I gather my spear and my cloak and set off to meet Rutan. I also bring the sword of jugment I had bin working on for three weeks. I had been hard at work puting the strongest magic into the blade for protection and attack *
"Rutan I have your new sword finnished today...here."

* Byond him is an army of feinds*

"what th?!"*pulls out my spear*

"Let me try" *I focus on three of the feinds with my left eye and use Pain on them. All three died but now my left eye is temporaraly blind*

"I see why you asked me to bild this sword!"

Elena hit the Water Flan with her staff.
"Why couldn't I have been a Black Mage?" She asked herself as the Flan attacked her with a water spell.
She turned and ran from the flan, not paying attention at all to where she was going. She tripped over a kid and fell into Torasaki. She gasped and stood up quickly.
"I'm sorry... The Water Flan... Water Spell... Ran away..." She managed to say between breaths. "I'm sorry again." She took a deep breath. "I am Elena, by the way." She held out her hand for him to shake it.

Rutan: "This'll make things easier..... step back all.... I'll show you how its done...." Rutan charges the enimies "HOLY EXPLOSION!!!" Pure holy energy raidiates from the sword causing Massive white explosions dispatching almost half the enimies. "Thats how it's bone BOO YA!"

rutan: come on hurry the shipps about to leave!! his voice kind of slurred because had filled his shirt so much that he had to carry a x-potion in his mouth

rutan and tora running like idiots with items stuffed any place they can fit them.

W.L.: what idiots he muttered

tora notices that there was a sign above the shop were they stole everything it said: free everything going out of buisness

Amid the ruins of what was only moments before an isolated village, a dark figure rummages through the belongings of those who once lived here. The surrounding hills still echo their screams that were only silenced moments before. Innumerable years of wandering and countless duels with danger had taught The Darkness to keep an ever aware eye upon the horizon. It was due to this training that he caught a glimpse of a faint flash of light...the flash of Rutan's Holy Explosion. The Darkness wipes the blood from his Deathsword, sliding the blade along the corpse of a villager. He looks curiously toward the direction of the flash of light....and begins walking.

[Ffgrandmaster]

Rutan: *With mouth full of bottles* "Well , lets go to Kilika now"

Tora: "Fine, I guess I'll bribe them to let us on"

W.L.: W.L. stops walking "??? Do I smell fire..."

Rutan: I don't ... don't worry 'bout it I'm sure you're imagening things" Tora reaches for a bottle "Don't worry 'bout it Tora, I got some money" Tora sets the bottles down.

Tora: "Guys we can put these bottles away, a sign at the stand said they were going out of buisness and everything was free"
Torasaki pulls out a sack stuffing the bottles and feathers in a sack
"Here throw your stuff in here guys" Rutan and W.L. put their bottles and feathers (lol) in the sack. "W.L. you missed a bottle"

W.L: "Huh I'm still somewhat blind from that explosion... stupid Rutan... always has to be flashy."

Rutan: "I killed some fiends didn't I?"

W.L.:"Lets just get on the boat" White Lightning knows that something bad has happened he just feels it deep down inside of him and he knows one day he will have to accept his fate and meet his past

Rutan:"I.... usually get seasick... but I am still enthusiastical about boat rides... they're just so fun... espically that airship." Rutan recalls his idiocy in the Bikanel desert when he was lost... but he is still greatful to the Al Bhed that were rebuilding that ruin in the desert, especially that one group that was picking up supplies in their airship... If it wasnt for them he would just be a pile of bones in the desert

Tora:"When is the boat leaving?" Upon hearing that the boat won't leave for a little while longer Torasaki heads for the water to practice blitzball.

[FallenSilence]

The black-clad man smiled. He stood still at the peak from where he had watched the battle at Luca unfold through sky blue eyes, his spiky brown hair waving in the gentle breeze.

"Skilled," he breathed. "So skilled...."

He knew that this group were those that he had sought for so long: they could be nobody else. Smiling again, he turned away from Luca and disappeared into the darkness.

Torasaki and Rutan train for an upcomming blitzball tournament by practicing to hold their breath.

Rutan: *Shakes his head* "Come on Tora you can do better that that... your awesome at blitz but you can't hold your breath... How do I explain this... When holding your breath don't think about how long you can hold your breath, know how long you can hold your breath." *Tora has a puzzleing look on his face* " Uhh... you see uhh...Don't wonder if you can hold your breath 10 miutes know you can hold your breath for 10 minutes

Tora: "I think I get it" Tora now understands that holding your breath is not a physical challange but a mental challange and is determined to overcome the challange.

[FallenSilence]

"I have found them at last. They appear to be headed for Kilika."
"I see. You have done well." The figure on the throne shifted in the shadows. "They defeated the fiends at Luca?"
"I am afraid so. It appears that we may have underestimated them."
"Hmm... I shall have to rethink our strategy." The figure smiled. "In the meantime, make yourself known to our....friends."
"With pleasure." Bowing, Nightstalker turned from the Great Hall with glee. He ws going to enjoy this.

[Ffgrandmaster]

W.L.: *Shakes his head in Disgust* "You train for blitz like we never even fought those fiends! Don't you wanna know where htey come from!?"

Rutan: Rutan is startled by White lightning "Hey man lighten up don't be so serious"

W.L.: *Now screaming* "Lighten up!?... Lighten up!?... With your and Tora's skills I say we have a snowballs chance in hell of surviving a full scale fiend attack!"

Rutan: *Confused* "Full scale fiend attack?... What are you talking about it was just a couple of fiends?"

W.L.: *Now a little calmer* "Rutan I can sense somthing bad is going to happen... I'm just worried about Torasaki"

Rutan: Rutan looks around confused "Uh... where is Tora?"

W.L.: "You mean you werent paying attention.... Rutan you idiot!!!"

[FallenSilence]

"Over here."
The man in black stood some distance away, the blade of his katana across Tora's throat. The Summoner looked terrified, and his staff lay on the floor some distance away.
"Make a move and he dies."

[Ffgrandmaster]

W.L.: "Damn it Rutan you should've been paying attention!

Rutan: "Me.. what about you!"

Tora: The young summoner is terrified and gasping for air he manages to mutter the words "What... do you... want... with me?

[FallenSilence]

The man smiled darkly.
"Allow me to introduce myself. I am Nightstalker. My swordsmanship is amongst the most feared in Spira. I kill without mercy and work for those who pay the highest price. As a Summoner, you are indeed important to the plans of my latest employer, either dead or alive. But, I consider myself a generous type. I'll let you go for now, on one condition."
He narrowed his eyes as he looked at White Lightning.
"You. That blade is a katana, is it not? Then I would request that I be allowed to test that you are worthy enough of wielding such a weapon. How about it?"

Rutan: Rutan is thinking of a plan 'cause he knows W.
L. is strong but this guy looks like he is too expirenced for even the likes of th legendary heroes. "Just 'cause you sneak up on us dosen't mean your better than us" Rutan stalls for time "If you think you're so strong then fight all of us"

Tora: "Rutan shut up!" exclaims Tora still with the blade at his neck "Do you him to kill me!?"

tora: if i can just get to my staff... he muttered. he had been practicing levatating things. he opened his hand for his staff. its flew into his hand. he plunged his staff into the strange dark figures stomach. he was free. he looks back at nightstalker and his mysterious friend. the battle was on.

being held by the throught and in shock tora falls to the ground unconsious.

"Arrrgh! You bastard child! You'll pay for that!"
Clutching his stomach, and angered now, Nightstalker clicked his fingers. A ball of darkness encircled Tora's unconscious form and hurled him against the wall.
"Playtime's over!"
He drew his sword and swept it in a large circle.
"I'll kill all of you!"

tora wakes up noticing hes not in the place were he passed out he says "what i miss?....AHH! get me off the wall RUTAN, W.L. do something.

tora is fidgeting on the wall watching the crazy nightstalker look like hes about to attack him.

tora: RUTAN HELP!!

"Any last words, boy? My master will be most pleased."

Nightstalker raised his katana high......

Rutan: Rutan is suprised at Tora's courage *Angry* "Tora you idiot we could have avoided fighting!... You ready Lightning?"

W.L.: Also suprised at Tora's courage "Is their any way we can avoid fighting?... No more blood needs to be spilled!" *White Lightning draws his katana "We don't need to fight!"

Rutan: Rutan is suprised by W.L.'s words "Yeah their is no need to fight!... What do you want from us?... Hmm... I got an Idea... Fight for us!!... We have plenty of money and your very strong.. We could use someone with skills of your calibur!"

[FallenSilence]

Nightstalker looked surprised at such an offer. He lowered his blade thoughtfully.
"Hmm....you're asking me to betray my master? If I joined you, how would you know that you could trust me? I am, after all, in the process of trying to kill you."

tora: *angry* ARE YOU CRAZY!! did you just see what this person try to do to me!! he had a katana to my neck and you want him to fight with us who knows he might kill me in ym sleep

Rutan: Rutan is thinking "You said you work for who pays the highest .... right.. we will double what you get payed now."

W.L.: *Silently* "Uhh . Rutan we dont have that much money.." W.L. is worried about betraying nightstalker

Rutan: "Or we could give you some Gil now and some later... Or even a buncha of potions or something."

yea we have a bunch of potions and stuf.....WAIT im the boy who doesnt want him fighting with us

tora is still pinned against the wall in a uncomfortable position

Tora: someone get me off this wall!!

Nightstalker bowed his head in thought, then gave a small nod.

"I'll tell you what. I'll go with you to Kilika without pay; I have business of my own to attend to there anyway. If you can trust me that far, that is where I shall make my final decision. Do we have a deal?"
He saw that Tora was still trapped.
"Oh, sorry." He waved his hand, and the Summoner dropped to the ground.

Facing away from them, he lifted a locket from where it hung around his neck.

I don't really care who I work for, as long as I can see you again.

Rutan: "Very well then to Kilika... Tora if you say anything to screw this up I'm gonna kill you!
Rutan looks angrily at Tora "You hear me!?"

W.L.: "One question... why did you want to fight me..?
White Lightning is puzzled by the request

happy that he has more party members he walks up to nightstalker

"whats that and who are you talking to?"

he sees nightstalker grasping a locket in his hand

"are you looking for someone??"

To White Lightning:

Nightstalker smiled.
"You don't......remember?"

*flashback, Bevelle Temple*
Two men are fighting, one in black, one in white, both with katanas. The man in white strikes down the man in black time and time again.

"I couldn't beat you, no matter how hard I tried. You were always a better warrior than I was. I tried so hard......"

Nightstalker clenched his fist.

"I made it my mission to train hard, grow stronger, so that one day, one day I could beat you, White Lightning. When I learned that you were travelling with the Summoner, and what my master had planned, I knew that I could kill two birds with one stone."

He looked at the other man with determination on his face.

"What do you say you give me that chance? First blood, not to the death. I would be honoured to fight you once more, to see if I can beat you. Can you grant me that one wish?"

To Tora:

"Just......a special friend of mine."
He put the locket away and looked at White lightning.
"Well?"

OOC: christ you guys are going way too fast. i'll enter at the next battle, if you don't get through with it before i have a chance to get into it.

W.L.: White Lightning is shocked, Is this really the same person that he fought in his past? "Wha..!? I... I.. I am honored that that someone like you would wish to fight me... My skills have since weakened... I fear I would no longer be a challange.. but... I cannot turn down a chance to fight... Battle accepted... I will not cheat" W.L. sets down his magnums and readies his katana. "Lets rock!"

Rutan: "Wow i've never seen Lightning this determined outside of a fiend fight..."

[FallenSilence]

Nightstalker bowed low.

"I am indeed grateful. Don't hold back!"

He leapt into the air with astonishing speed and made two slashing attacks with his weapon, one aimed at each side of White Lightning's body.

Elena walks to the dock where she heard some commotion. She looked and saw two people fighting. She recognised one of them. He was the one the Summoner was with.
She watched their fight in amazement.
"Wow..." She whispered. She decided to not interrupt the fight, and leaned against a house nearby and watched the fight.

[Ffgrandmaster]

W.L.: W.L. Stepped sideways and raised his katana dodging one slash and catching nightstalkers blade with his katana "Almost had me!.. I did'nt see that second slash until it fell upon my blade!" The two warriors blades are clashing in mid air. "Your move" says White Lightning boldly

"With pleasure."
Nightstalker cut out with a quick backhanded slash, followed quickly by a thrust to White Lightning's midsection, noticing as he did so that there was a girl watching their fight.

"Sure." She took one last look at the two fighting men before heading towards the village. She laughed. "Come on!"

W.L.: White Lightning ducked and then countered with a thrust... the two katana's were stuck point to point. White Lightning chuckled "We are matching each other move for move... I see we cannot best each other in close quarters" W.L. leaps through the air backwards throwing a volley of shurikens at Nightstalker, upon landing W.L. flies toward Nightstalker thrusting at him

"Oww... How could I have not seen the door?" She gazed over at Tora, who was looking at some staffs the shopkeeper was showing him, and looked at the rose in her hand. "I'll keep this somewhere safe..." She said putting it in her pocket.
She looked up as the two men began to argue over something. She shook her head.
"Boys..." She muttered, and looked at some staffs for herself.

Elena giggles at Tora and Lenyx's arguement.
"4,000 gil? That's a lot of money." She goes back to looking at the staffs.
"I'm not looking for anything really. I just bought this one here" Elena brings out her Light Staff. "I would be good to get one of these better staffs..." She gestures to the more expensive ones. "But I don't have enough money right now...." She trails off.
"Oh well, come on. They'll probably be waiting for us. " Elena giggles before heading out the door.

Rutan: Rutan is amazed by the skills of W.L. and Nightstalker "Wow..." Rutan looks around "...CRAP! I lost Tora again!" Rutan screams "TORA!!! ... Lightning is gonna kill me!... TORA!!!" Rutan is running around looking for Tora when he trips and falls off small cliff *While falling* "Ahhhhhhhh!" upon arrivale back at the dock. tora heres rutan screaming like a little school girl "time to try this new staff out" tora uses his air staff and levitates rutan up onto the top of the cliff. he plucks the piranas off rutan and throughs them off the cliff "are you okay?" i asked. rutan still screaming like a lil girl

Elena gasps.
"Is he OK?" I run over and cast a Cure spell on him. "He should be fine now..." Elena sat and listens to him scream.
"Will he ever stop screaming?" She slaps him a couple of times till he stops. " Much better..."

"I am Elena." I hold out my hand to shake his. "And I'm sorry for slapping you" She smiled.

Rutan: Rutan shakes her hand. "Hey its no problem, Tora has had to do that a couple times *Torasaki smiles* except he dosen't hit me as hard..." Rutan looks around "I wish I could fight as good as them." Rutan draws his weapons "I have the weapons... but not the determination" Rutan puts away his weapons "By the way where is Lenyx I want to thank him again for the sword before we leave"

while walking to the public diner elena and tora are ambushed by 2 fiends a flying fiend and a giant fiend, it had long arms with spikes. to be courageous tora jumps in front of elena the fiend slaps him with his arm and tora falls to the ground


"ahhh help!!! someone help!!" yelled elena

kuroug hears elena's cries for help and rushes out, bringing his zanmato out. he takes an almighty swing at the giant and it staggers back.
"you're a summoner, summon something!"

the spiked giant lunges at kuroug and elena. kuroug grabs elena and jumps out of the way. as the giant tries a second time kuroug takes something out of a pouch at his side and throws it on the ground. vines rise up from the earth entangling the beast and with one almighty slash kuroug slays the giant.

tora wakes up from consiousness and see the giant fiend is gone but the flying fiend is still alive. he runs and pulls a small but powerful dagger and throughs the dagger at the fiend it dies. "i never thought i would have to use that stupid thing". he pulls the dagger out of the fiend carcuse and puts it back in its holder on toras pants. tora runs past kuroug and elena. elena has a amazed looks on her face. she watches as tora runs down to the dock never looking back

Rutan: "Look out TIDAL WAVE!"
A giant tidal wave hits Kilika destroying a couple of buildings and knocking everyone down, upon getting up Rutan notices W.L. and Nightstalker were still fighting... they were unaffected by the tidal wave and did'nt notice it hit Kilika. "Wow... those guys are awesome.. I could'nt even come close to their skills"

while i was swimming underwater a giant water fiend attacked me and i was knocked unconsious the last thing i saw was elena swimming towards me

Elena looks away for a second, and looks back to see Tora gone.
"Tora?" She calls out. "Tora!" She dives under the water to see Tora slowly sinking down.
Suddenly, a monster swims out and starts attaking him. She swims over and pulles her staff from his grip. She hits the fiend a couple of times, before it swims away.
She grabs hold of Tora's hand and pulls him up to the surface.

Hidden among the shadows within a nearby grove of trees, The Darkness watches the scene played out below. For only a fleeting moment, there seemed to be a faint smile upon his lips as he watched the two warriors battling. The battle did not interest him as much as the bodies of the dead fiends. He crouched patiently amid the shadows, thinking to himself, " At least, I will not have to hunt tonight. "

Who did this?" Before the man dies he mutters "Human... Fiend..." Rutan gives the man a burial at sea "A human fiend?" Rutan draws his weapons "It must still be here somewhere" Rutan searches the town and finds nothing "Mabey it was just a fiend... that man could have been delusional" Rutan goes around town asking about the man, he gets a reply that the man was a fiserman that was stoping to resupply his boat and had no family "Poor guy... he only looked 20 or so...He had his whole life in front of him" Rutan remembers he is only 15 "So do I... should I really be fighting?" Rutan has been a guardian to summoners since he was 9, when he first started he was his dads guardian and failed to protect him "If I let him die... then what could happen to Tora..." Rutan vowed never to let another summoner die by a fiend when his dad died... His mom was already dead and he had no home so he knew he had nothing to lose except his dads sword Excalibur. "I wont let Tora die... I can't" Rutan looks for Tora "I'm sure he's gone somewhere with Elena" Rutan sits on the edge of a dock thinking "Can I really protect Tora... I couldn't protect dad or any of the other summoners "Rutan is gazing out at the ocean "But then I couldn't use Excalibur and didn't have The sword of Judgement" Rutan draws his weapons again "Can these weapons and my skills really protect Tora?... All I can do is try my best I guess.. I have help this time"

Rutan: " OH MY GOD THEY STOPPED FIGHTING!" screams Rutan loudly as possible "I can't believe you did all that and no one won... I could have beat both of you and Sin and Vegnagun by now!" Rutan jumps in the water and swims away very fastly "I'll be waiting for you at Luca... the blitz tournament starts soon and I need to train... keep a good eye on Tora for me!" Rutan disappears into the horizon *To himself*"Now... lets go fiend hunting... that will provide good training!"

He extended his hand, and White Lightning shook it firmly.

"Now, if you'll excuse me, there's someone I have to see."
Nightstalker jumped away from White Lightning and headed in the direction of a group of houses.

"I dunno..." She said. "You were there... Then you weren't!" She sat on the dock and looked up at him.
"I was really worried!" She stood up and hugged him. "I'm so glad you're OK!"
She looked over at the two warriors fighting, and noticed they were done. She let go of Tora and ran towards the boat.
"Hey, they're done! Let's go!"

tora jumps up and looks back at kilika... he walks up the ramp of the boat we start towards luca all of us instead of rutan abourd (were in luca now, someone else go, my friend steffeny is gonna join soon and be my guardian someone think of a way we can fit her in, any suggestions?)

"My supper grows cold, as I wait for these imbecilic pest." The Darkness says to himself,as he steps from the shadows of the trees and into the open. He walks toward the lifeless form of the flying fiend, almost bumping into Nightstalker as they passed one another, barely noticing the existence of the warrior he had just moments before witnessed in battle. As if it were nothing out of the ordinary, he knelt down beside the dead creature and began slicing off choice cuts of meat. He placed the meat in a leather sack that hung from his belt and then stood there....eyeing the surroundings.

Rutan is fighting a giant water fiend *Thinking* "This is gonna be tough" Rutan takes a swipe at the fiend, hiting it but the fiend is unaffected "That didn't hurt it?... Fine ... take this... HOLY EXPLOSION!" The attack kills the fiend, but it creates a whirlpool, Rutan fights the current but to no avail... he is sucked into the whirlpool leaving his weapons to sink to the bottom of the ocean

Me and metallica rock agree to this as this RP has gone crazy... First we never knew where we were, second we still dont know where we are and third, I know I started it but this was not atrue RP because of people using each other in their dialouges. I am very sorry for posibly ruining this RP but I agree with Mercen-X this was just a bunch of random stuff. Yet again sorry.

When he was born, Lanyx was trusted to an old man who was head of the Temple in bevel. Growing up in the temple and lerning more of the Faith and of magic (dark and light) Lanyx became a skilled mage and went on to study the art of somoning. At the age of 10, the temple priests of Bevel notist Lanyx's somwhat differance from the rest of the studence. When he was witnessing the somoning of Bohomut for the first time, the aeon turned to face him and everyone saw spirits of the Faith entering Lanyx and his left eye glow a bright green. It was discovered later that Lanyx's was conceved by an aeon of darkness. This put Lanyx in dispar, for the preists beleaved him to be a danger to the teachings of Yevon and refused to further teach him in the temple. He was taken in by a black-smith and was shown how to forge metal into weapons. As Lanyx grew, he bacame well known for his craftmanship with swords and bilt himself a spear that pulsed with magic. But Lanyx still felt that his life had a more deeper perpos, and disided to go to Zanarkand. Because he had the blood of aeons, he wanted to find the chamber of Faith and speak with Anima hoping that she would tell him why he was like this. In the outskerts of the grate city, Lanyx encountered a number of fiends wich were not of normal origin. Fighting and kill the five that oposed him, he went to continue his quest. But it was not untill he found the temple the he was confronted by a Vampier wich gaurded the entrence. A hard battle was fought and he won, but the vampier made one more attempt and bit him on the neck. In the chamber of Faith, Anima came to him and tolled him that becase the Faith will no longer come to Spira, he was to receave the power of the nine aeons. In time he lernd of to use them and the cost of there use. Eventualy he went back to bevel only to find that his step father had died.Lanyx went to his step fathers grave and promised to be the best weapon bilder in Spira. The smith shop was left to Lanyx, so he carries on the business in bevel.

Daughter of Cid by different mothers than Rikku and Brother. Learned how to build things out of spare parts at the age of 7, has invented for her use a pair of machanical wings with Zuu feathers to make them look real(NOTE: Zuu feathers are black). when she turned 15(her current age) she went out(by way of Oasis) to try to find alternate means of the current transportation. She is careful not to speak Al Bhed in public, however, sometimes....it slips out.

Mirei was flying through the sky at great speed. She looked back, the fiend still follows her. "Dammit" she thought. Suddenly, she began to loose altitude, and fell suddenly. "Dammit! A malfunction!" she wailed. "These damned trees!" and then the fiend was upon her... she screamed.

EDIT: she is speaking Al Bhed, i was just too lazy to open my translator if i had written in Al Bhed she would be saying "Tyllud!" and "Tyllud! Y lycworsduyr!"

*I left the room to get her another potion just in case.*
