All depends on whether the pain is spontanious or is expected. I'm good at enduring pain that's expected e.g. a doctor saying to you "this will hurt, brace yourself". I can't take much pain at all if I'm not prepared though, say if someone randomly throws a rock at me or something.

I can resist physical forms of pain, but I can't resist some forms of emotional pains.

I'm a man, and I know nothing of physical pain.

I do know of emotional pain, though, thanks to my girlfriend's monthly friend.

It hurts, mommy...

I do a power-endurance sport, which is pretty painfull, but in a good kind of way. Except I'm injured at the moment, which wasn't part of the plan...

Depends on what part of the body. Some injuries I can endure with minimum whining and others I would just drop to the floor and lose sight of my surroundings.

I read about people who can't feel pain. It's horrible. Apparently, because they feel nothing, they don't know when to stop or what to do; like this one girl who kept scratching her eyes or something, and because she couldn't feel the pain, she just kept doing it. ;___;

Pain is very important. ALL OUT FOR PAIN!

Depends on the kind of pain. And what you call resistance. How does one resist pain? If the pain is there, it's obviously not being resisted. And if the pain isn't there, it's not there to be resisted... or something. Anyway, I suffer when it's painful and I don't suffer when it's not. :D Excluding emotional pain, as that's a whole different story...

Probably don't want to read the below if you're extremely squeamish.

Most painful memories:
1) Bad testicular torsion. I got this really bad one night. I would compare it with having your balls in a vice or a nut cracker or something. It doesn't just affect your balls, either. It affects your entire lower abdomen. And bloody hell, it will keep you up. You can't walk, you collapse if you try, when it's really bad. You will not sleep. There is no comfortable position. Gah.
2) Wasp sting on the hip. Right after the stores closed so I couldn't do anything about it as I had no vinegar (or anything else that would have helped). I swore my head off and

Oddly not that bad:
1) Having my leg run over, ripping a muscle right out of my leg so that I could see the bone. I also lost a bone and another one was ground half-away by the gravelly road. The hole in my leg could fit roughly four to six golf balls in it. But I guess my mind switched off the pain trigger or something. Or at least I don't remember the pain, although I remember everything else quite clearly.
2) Breaking my hand after falling off a chair whilst changing a lightbulb (SHUT UP :mad2:). My finger was completely twisted out of place, but I didn't even know I'd broken it until I saw it.

I stand by the first statement in the post, though. It's hard to say how much pain resistance I have when I've only experienced what my own body verifies as painful.

If I'm not expecting the pain, it's easier for me to endure it. But when I'm prepared, then it seems like it's magnified many many times.

SO as long as it's a surprise attack, awesome.

EDIT: Oh, and BoB, Christ. You're lucky for not feeling that. Those, I mean.
