Don't you just hate it when you start a totally great thread, and suddenly after awhile of leaving it alone, you come back to see that your thread got closed for any of the following reasons: turned into spam, when members are "flaming" you for your "great" idea they find "stupid," or any other reasons why a staff member would close the thread.

Anyway, to give this thread a "topic," what do you do when your thread gets closed for any reason?

I haven't really made enough threads for that to happen to me. But I bet it'll be happening to this topic pretty soon. :D

I make a new thread(s), asking why my site got ruined, and then when that gets closed, I profess how I "H8" the staff until eventually I get banned and go down in history as the greatest member that ever was.

I don't know if I've had a thread of mine closed since the EZboard days. I guess if it were to happen I wouldn't really care.

Haha, funny Proto monkey.Yeah, like that Hall of Fame thread that started out so well but ended up doing something useful. Seriously, WTF? I bet you were pissed for days.

All the threads I start have some element of nonsense to them, so it really doesn't matter. I used to start metaphysical discussion threads in EoEO, but that got really boring after everything kinda devolved to the same old crap again and again. Besides, thinking is overrated - why waste time arguing and debating when you could be making love? :D

None of my threads have been closed. At least not due to spammy type stuff. Not sure if they've been closed for any other reason. If they have I didn't need them anymore anyway so they were due to be closed. ^_^

Threads don't go bad, since "bad" is a subjective viewpoint, to someone else it's good.

Anyway, it's your own fault it gets closed anyway, don't try and blame other people.

I never make any great treads, so I never have to worry about that.

Shoot the person who closed it.

My name is...something..?

I take the thread and wrap it up in a strong plastic bag(like one from Wal-mart) and take it out of the fridge than I take it outside and put it in a trash can. After threads go bad you have a good five hours to throw them out before they start stinking up the whole house.

"Whatever." But, f I thought the thread was really good, I'd try to Appeal it via PM to whomever closed it.

when a thread goes bad? when i made my viva la resistance thread (which i now realize was stupid but still) it was closed for no reason other than one of the mods found it anoying. if you ask me it wasn't me who was being annoying, it was the mods at the time. but things are better now....at least i believe they are.

In my opinion, most of these threads don't go bad, they start out that way.
