When the game ends, can u still play? or u have to continue beating the final boss over and over again?

Yep it never ends unless you been a beta player who has done all of your misions,maxed out all of your jobs,maxed out your crafts,and beaten the COP and the Rise of the Zilart.But then you know they'll do another expansion so oyu'll never actually finish.

The entire story isn't complete. You can play and do everything up to this point, but since it's not complete, you can't finish it, so there isn't an ending.

You would have to complete the following:

Shadow Lord Chapters [San d'Oria, Bastok, or Windurst Missions to Rank 5]
San d'Oria Chapters [San d'Oria Missions to Rank 10]
Bastok Chapters [Bastok Missions to Rank 10]
Windurst Chapters [Windurst Missions to Rank 10]
Rise of the Zilart Expansion Pack.
Chains of Promathia Expansion Pack.

Chains of Promathia, although released many months ago, has not fully been released yet. You can get up to a certain amount of missions before your next lead is cut off until a new update coming soon.

I know a girl who has done all of the above, but she doesn't consider any of the story arcs to be a real ending and keeps on playing.
