"Father has a business strictly second hand
Everything from toothpicks to a baby-grand
Stuff in our apartment came from father’s store
Even things I’m wearing someone wore before
It’s no wonder that I feel abused
I never get a thing that ain’t been used"

I was like... YOU GOT ME A FREAKIN' USED SHIRT? >=0

"Even our piano in the parlor
Father bought for ten cents on the dollar
Second hand pearls
I’m sick of second hand curls
I never get a single think that’s new
Even jake, the plumber, he’s a man I adore
Had the nerve to tell me he’s been married before!"

HOW COULD YOU GIVE ME THIS THINGY! :whimper:
- Do you buy used things?
I only buy used LPs... only because it's impossible to find 'em new.

Sometimes Used videogames. If I could find used CDs, I'd buy them. Especially rare ones.

Nope... no second hand stuff for us. Unless they were given to me by older friends or members of the family.

I do go quite out of my way for rare LPs, CDs and tapes.

Only if there's no easy way to get it new. All that comes to mind is video games right now.

Not much. An occasional book, now and then. :)

Yes, I buy used things. Books, CDs, video games, old antiquey furniture (nothing anything like a sofa though), and clothes. Value Village has some amazing stuff and all it needs is a trip to the washing machine or the dry cleaners. :cat:
