I am in college, and actually have an exam today *Sob*

I did german GCSE, and dont worry its not hard...GCSE's are over rated, they are as easy as all the other exams you get throughtout the years (Internal exams) Seriously, dont worry! :)

I found that listening to music makes revising easier

Don't post on forums, grab your books/practice tests and read/practice. Seriously, why are you posting here when you should be working?

German? No way. German's probably one of the easiest exams I have. Already got my written coursework out the way and did my speaking exam a few weeks ago. Just got my listening and reading tomorrow.

Got my first ICT exam starting in an hour and a half.

I have my ICT Practical Mock GCSE on Friday! Followed by my other 3 ICT mock papers over the next three weeks, and various other delightful end of year exams. ;_____________________; I FEEL YOUR PAIN. I DO.

I have my first GCSEs in September, then in November for ICT; the rest of mine will be next May/June. :( IT'S SO STRESSFUL. I cannot study; it's too painful. But I must! AAAAGH. Why does everyone say the GCSEs are easy!? :( They're not.

I'd come top of the class in exams if I didn't constantly run out of time.

I had my first GNVQ ICT exam today. It counts as 10% of my final grade including coursework. I think I did good.
I have a Physics and Chemistry exam tomorrow. I hate Chemistry, I'm going to fail it, so I'll read over some notes before I go to bed and when I wake up, so maybe I'll JUST get a pass.

Basically, Just read over some notes or something?

I'm at college, did my maths AS exam today, I think I did alright, it was surprisingly easy, which probably means I've failed it, lol. Still have two more maths exams coming up, should be fun. Anyway, I find it easy to revise with some music on, reading through my notes and saying them out loud, Over and over and..............

Don't they give you any practice exams? Or maybe find copies of exams of previous years, that should be allowed, shouldn't it? You could keep doing those to test yourself. I did that a lot in high school.

What is GCSE btw? I mean what is it short for/what does it stand for?

Viel Glück in den Prüfungen =)

English Literature and you've slept through most of the English lessons? I would hate to be in your position, especially considering the exam is closed book this year (or perhaps that's just my exam board for English, the WJEC). I'm not too worried about my literature. I know pretty much all the examples of themes and techniques (e.g. creation of tension in An Inspector Calls) quite a number of quotes on both An Inspector Calls and To Kill A Mockingbird and tomorrow night can be devoted to learning some more.

My ICT was pretty easy as expected. One question "describe in detail what the Internet is" caused me to laugh. Sadly, I didn't opt with "porn" like I wanted to. Didn't think I'd get 2 marks for that.

And apologies, Sweet_Angel, I assumed you were British sitting your GCSEs next year.

It's pretty standard for schools to have a set of "mock exams" several months before the real things (had mine in January) which allow people to pick up on weaknesses and get a feel for real exams. I probably have around 20 different past papers in my room right now. Teachers seem to love giving us photocopies.

GCSE stands for 'General Certificate of Secondary Education'.

Had 2 exams in a row today... such is the troubles of doing so many AS Levels. I only have 3 more days of exams but on Friday 10th, I turn up at 9am and leave school at 3pm. Going on that, I shall have spent all that time in the same room doing exams with 15 minute breaks. Fun.... I've got to study quite a lot but Luckily i'm always good at English and i've got the rest of week to do it (Exam this Friday).

Good luck to all doing them.

Im'm doing Art foundation and I've been doing my exam for the past 8 weeks!!!!!! It may seem a long time but its not!!! ONLY 3 WEEKS LEFT!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARHHHHHHHHH!!! so much to do! so little monkies!!!

Kagga advise: read your notes
Eat ice cream
Listen to your fave music while revising (so in the exam think of the music and u should find it easier to remember!)
Eat more ice cream
train a bumble bee to remeber all your notes and bring it into the exam and hide it behind your ear so it can whisper to you!!
Eat ice cream

Good luck!

Kagga the genius!!

reading notes is good. having all your English notes written up in your anthology in shorthand sentences in other languages so the examiners can't take it off u for having 2 many notes in it is even better...sad of me, but i needed the written practice, so there were French and Spanish words and shorthand everywhere...i just spent three hours doing my Eng lang and lit AS. it went well, which probably means i did badly, lol. listening 2 music is a good idea too...i'm gonna find put on French mp3s whilst i learn my vocab now...

At my high school we did 'mocks' and 'mock mocks' was kinda silly, I get really worried and nervous when we have exams and I had so many. :(
I've got loads of C2 past papers in my bag ready for my maths revision :)

I just don't believe you have never revised for a test EVER and you get top of your class...

Got exams coming up in two weeks and I haven't really started studying yet. Starting to get stressed...
