Back when this thread was posted on the forums, ( link (http://www.eyesonff.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51371&highlight=final+fantasy+remake) ) I found this really informative website about the Final Fantasy series, and I'm looking for that site again, but I can't seem to find it. If anyone could help me with locating it again, I would be most appreciative.
The background of the site was black, or dark in general. Might have been blue. It was a simply designed page, and it may or may not have had frames on the left hand side with a menu for accessing the various pages on the site.
The content of the site had information I had never known before about the series. It had a seperate page for each game and spinoff in the series. In the Final Fantasy 2 section, it detailed information about how the game had been prepared to be released for the original NES, but then plans were scrapped in favor of releasing FF4. It had details of the FF3 remake (including the screenshot from the thread above, along with a few others, but not many, other shots from that remake.)
Perhaps the content that will help locate it the most though, is a piece it had under the Final Fantasy V section. It detailed initial plans to bring it over to America on the PC as FF Xteme, and had an interview with one of the programmers working on the project about various tidbits and why the project was scrapped and all that.
