Help Me-I can't get the Dark Night Dressphere!

Okay, I've gotten to the part where you have to jump on the platforms on the otherside to get to the dressphere. The only problem is, I can't reach them. :mad2:

Everytime I try to jump over to get to the treasure chest, I can never, ever, EVER-cross over!! Did I have to get the bloodlust item, before I could get the dressphere? Or is it because I didn't finish the Gunner's Guantlet quest?

you have to go back to one of those places where you activated the first lift and activate it again.then you can get it.

Ok I will try to help you in order to gain acesses on those items and also to get the Dark Knight dressphere.

For this, you have to push square to tell Rikku when to move the platforms. You can only do so while standing in a safe place. Basically, get off the machine by getting to one of the walls, then tell Rikku to move the machine. Stop the machine when it's on the 3rd and 4th floors, then the 3rd and 1st floors, to get the two items here (Bloodlust and Wring accessories). [This may take a lot of practice, and get very frustrating. And well... the accessories aren't worth it :rolleyes2 When you done, get back down, go to the left side of the screen to enter a new area.


Now it's the time to get on the other area to get the Dark Knight dressphere:

Walk through the corridor, and you will see three lifts. Go to the one on the right first. Get the Hi Potion from the chest, step on the two blocks, then fall down off the bottom of the screen. Go in the center lift this time, and stand on the block. Take the lift on the left, then go right and take the lift to the right. Take the center lift and step on the block again. Go down, then take the right lift. Go up here and get on the lift. Go down the steps that you created to get the Dark Knight Dressphere.

Well... this should do the trick... I hope that works... ;)

No man you're getting confused. You have to press square and Rikku will only move to activate the machines. Yuna will tell Rikku when to move. Rikku is the one that makes the machines to move!
