I gather that the name " Tupac Shakur " is the name of a hero featured in Mayan mythology - it means something like " Shining Warrior ".

2pac is ok i guess
He was originally called 2pac but he was later called Tupac but people got confused and guessed. 2pac himself never really made a big annoncment about his name change and left it. So hes got two names
But he was better when his definate name was 2pac
