Ahhhh, everyone's calling the 90s an era and now I feel old. ;_; I know there are people here who have lived through other similarly named eras, such as the 80s and 70s. How did you cope with your feelings of getting old once that period of time you so dearly loved was so solidly locked into the past by that strange anhuman entity we call society?

When we're thirty years down the line and THEN someone don't you remember the 90s? That's when I'll feel old.

Jurassic Park is frightening in the dark. All the dinosaurs are running wild.

I haven't been in elementary school for an entire decade. I am sad!

I started thinking about that when GTA San Andreas came out. The game takes place in the 90's. They make it sound like all in the history books which im sure it is but it just sounds wierd. Now i often wonder when im gana feel the same way again.... when GTA makes a game in 2000? Hell its gana be 2010 before we know it. That sounds all future like dont it?

The 90's were great. And yeah, I remember being told JP was too scarey for me, too, but I got to see it anyway.

I saw JP when I was a kid, and I must've been pretty young. I dunno which year it came out in. Good movie. :) I had a big obession with dinosaurs when I was little, so my parents must have figured I'd be interested and not scared.

I was born in '88. My recollection of the '90s is mostly based on the later half, and even then I don't remember anything really interesting beyond Power Rangers and Pokemon.

All I remember of the early '90s were Ninja Turtles, the endless ripoff shows of Ninja Turtles, and Batman. The '90s were really boring for me.

I remember telling my dad that Jurassic Park was too scary for me and "I told you we should've gone to see Mario Brothers."
In the middle of the movie in the theater. And he will never let me forget it. @_@

The ninja turtles came on before you were born, I think. It took awhile to come to Canada, though. Which is probably good since a two or three year old wouldn't know much of what was going on.

Ninja turtles came out in 89, I believe. I remember I got all 4, April, and Shredder for Christmas. I had no idea who they were but they were COOL, man.

Okay. I'm beginning to feel old here. ;)

The 80's were "my" era. I remember the 70's, vaguely, but I can remember many things from the 80's. I remember exactly where I was when Challenger blew up. I remember President Reagan being shot. 80's had the best cartoons, and great music. It's scary to realize that I graduated high school 14 years ago!

The 80's were far better than the 90's, but technology-wise, I wouldn't want to go back. There was no Internet!
