Need serious help (danger of overheating!)

OK, I'm in the world Deep Jungle on the original Kingdom Hearts, in the Waterfall caverns. I'm on the part where you need to jump fro the platform with a Shell-G on it to the higher up one with a Mythril on it.
HOW THE HELL DO YOU MAKE THAT JUMP!? I've tried everything, the platform always seems just out of reach. It's seriously stressing me out, making me swear and everything! Can anyone help?

Are you sure you're going the right way? I know the bit you're talking about and there are alot of ledge's there, you may actually have to jump to a different ledge, have another look around.

Try at the height of the jump swinging the keyblade forward, it can give you a little extra distance.

What you have to do is jump onto the hippo. Get onto the highest tree, or whatever it is, on the left, and then get as close to the edge as you possibly can. Then you have to toggle the view untill it go kinda weird and drops to the hippo. Then you jump onto it, and over to the grass.

Good luck, and it will probably take you a few tries. I know it sure did for me.

did u actually get to triton's throne? or just make it to the kingdom? because i think when you get to the throne, he strikes the heartless that follows you, and blah blah blah. Just follow the arrows on the walls to get to the throne.

Wait a sec. If you've been to the grotto and the throne, then aren't you at the part where you have to hitch a ride on the dolphin now?

ahh yeah i remember that. kill all the enemies in ehmm, i forgot what the place is called but its the place where there is an entrance to ariels grotto and an entrance to the place before Tritons throne. the dolphin is swimming around somewhere but i think you need to kill off all the enemies in the area before you can hitch a ride with it. when you have done so, use the comman where the question mark usually is and it will automatically drop you off where you are supposed to go.

Wrong spot. The dolphin that you need to ride is actually in the second area that you enter. When you first go to Atlantica, you turn up in a grotto, and you meet Ariel, Flounder, and Sebastian...now just exit that area, and find the dolphin near the bottom. Make sure you kill all the heartless around you, though.
