Is it possible to.....

Well Im going to get FFXI soon, me and 2 of my brothers are going to make accounts.
We all have our own computers..... All connected to the net through a router.
So I'd like to know if its possible if we could all play FFXI, at the same time, on our different computers, and of course on different accounts.
If not it'll only be me playing :)

Not true, my friend installed his FF on my computer and on his and we both play on it at the same time me in my house and him in his. You only couldn't if you played on the same accounts. Then again he has CoP so that might be the reason for it working, anyhow try it out and if it doesn't work get CoP and if it still doesn't work, sue me.

What is CoP? Because me and my sister tried to play using the same play online id but it didn't work. Whenever one of us logged in then the other got disconnected.

CoP is the abbrieviation for the expansion pack FINAL FANTASY XI: Chains of Promathia.

you will need to set up a knew account, when you click on the POL button on your desktop you can chose to Join POL which means to set up a new account so in answer to your question yes you and your brothers can all play at once

You'll just have to fork out $12.95 for each of you. That's ~$39.00 a month, and that's not including any extra characters. I hope you're each paying for your own account.

it doesnt matter whose game you install on your PC, all copies of FFXI are exaactly the same, the CDs only contain image files and sound files and things of that sort that any game has, the reason you are both able to play at the same time is because you each have a different registration code for POL and FFXI, although i dont know how you got different codes since a code comes with the game.... unless you stole the book out of a game at walmart or something......
