In the English version of the game the dwarfs have a distinct Scottish accent. Is this reflected in the Japanese version? Do other languages have different dialects and accents for the various townsfolk in Gaia?

It is very easy to tell by reading the text phonetically. For example, the dwarves have a Scottish accent, Ruby has a southern-state accent, etc. I was just wondering if these differences are still represented in other languages.
