good statergy

help!!ive just started playing ffx-2 and i need help with a good stratergy for fighting for example hos bst as what because i have kept them the same as when you start..... help...but no spoilers please!!!! just need help with what is best for them!

Okay okay! Keep your hair on! Rikku should be your White Mage and Berserker, Paine should be a Samurai and a Black Mage and Yuna should be a Warrior and a Dark Knight. Set your people off with Warriors or Gunners to start, not Theives

thats ONE stratagy, plus, they've only just started the game, therefore dont have white mage, black mage, samuri and Dark knight. Theives can be usefull, cause they have stoproof, very usefull. I had Paine as Warrior, Rikku as Theif, and Yuna togeling between white mage and Gun mage, a usfull combination, cause if white mage runs out of MP, i can switch to Gun mage and absorb some. They way i got to where I am, is i kept them working on the same dressphere, so they had all the abbilities for bosses and stuff. Just attcking, and using other abbilities when sutable, like if i was against a water flan, id use Flan eater (Gun Mage) and that Thunder sword attack (warrior) i cant remember the name. But i just think tis best to find what suits YOU.

ahh, thats good then. I find battling is easyer for some reason if you have one person as a "mage" of some sort in your party. I always had Yuna as a Mage, as you may have read b4.

Strategy? In X-2? LOL, I got through most of this game with 3 warriors and the methodic mashing X.

Failing that, using a white mage and 2 dark knights with the same method seems to work just as well, plus you won’t need to heal later.
