View Full Version : Ice cream cones?

Okay, I just came backfrom Dairy Queen, and I had a large cone, and I realize I lick the ice cream. I know that is not weird, but I realize my mom bites the ice cream. So my question is: When you eat ice cream cones, do you lick the ice cream or bite it?

A little of both, though I'm very careful as to how I bite it, because if it hits my gums wrong the cold will kill me.

Depends on the icecream flavor. If it's mint chocolate chip then I bite. Strawberry then I lick...

That's the problem with ice cream. Is it a liquid or is it a solid? Make up your damned mind, and have it call me when it decides.

Ditto. I like to lick it though, cos trying to look all sensual when licking an ice-cream is nigh-on impossible, but something amusing to try to do!

My teeth are sensative and do not like when I bite. I lick. But, then again, most people know that about me already. *bu-dum ching*

I kinda suck on it, really. I'm not trying to be dirty, but licking it hurts my tongue and makes it go all numb and I can't taste the ice cream anymore. So I like, put my lips on top of it and suck on it and then roll it around in my mouth until it melts. Then I do it again.
Lord, I just can't win. :(

Technically, Ice Cream is a liquid, solid, and gas all at once.
I tend to wrap my mouth around the ice cream and suck, which is oddly somewhere in the middle of biting and licking, as far as I can see it. But I prefer to get those little tubs, which means I eat it with a spoon. (Though one time for yucks I tried using chopsticks.)

I used to bite right into that sucker, but after that fateful day involving a trip to the dentist and, subsequently, fillings, my teeth are way too sensitive to bite anything that cold.
Nowadays, I hold the cone horizontally (No, it doesn't drip. Geez) and lick around it.

yeah, me neither, although I use special toothpaste to help with my sensitive teeth. So its suction all the way for me.

I gobble it all up in one bite. I usually tend to lick it, then eventually bite it.
