My opinion is that square wasn't going down. The merger wasn't to save Square, it was strategic. I've never once felt like playing the bouncer, though.

What? Kingdom hearts was released after the bouncer and I think FFX was as well.

Square and Enix merged on April 1, 2003. The Bouncer was released on December 23, 2000, and it was only Square's fourth game--and first non-sports game--for the PS2.

ah, right, so that's why it was a little below standard. thanks.

In Japan, Final Fantasy X-2 was their last game, I don't remember what there last game in America is though.

I'll never play the Bouncer.

This...this is unforgivable Duragon!

Seriously, I hate it when I have to fight a villain with no shirt on.

Well, call me crazy but I wholy enjoyed this game. I think a lot of people were dissapointed because they were just wanting it to be Final Fantasy X. I was expecting exactly what I got and to me it was exciting to play because it was a hint of how I imagined Final Fantasy X would look when I was playing it. I did everything the game had to offer including unlocking Black Hooded Sion not too long after I purchased it and set it down satisfied. I haven't felt the need to play it again and I don't see it as a fantastic achievement in gaming, but I enjoyed it.

It was too freaking easy. You could run through it in two hours.

My friend got it when he got his PS2 and we just kind of ran through it.

It's not my favorite game in the whole entire world, but I've played a lot worse. I, actually, enjoy this game. Sure, it's kind of corny, and cliche, but that's not to be unexpected in the gaming world. It IS short, and horribly easy, as said before, but it's perfect if you just want something quick, and fairly fun to play, just to pass the time.

Plus it's pretty. That doesn't really matter, you know, but it helps. I like it.

Unlocking Black Hooded Sion sure isn't easy...

Unlocking Black Hooded Sion sure isn't easy...Unlocking extras shouldnt be what makes a game easy or hard though. I hate it when unlocking extras are thrown into a game in exchange for challenging gameplay. Edit: (Im assuming unlocking Black Hooded Sion is an extra ^^)

first ps2 game, and then Onimusha: Warlords. methinks it's quite creative. storyline > too short. graphics > wows me more than a lot of games i'm playing to this day. great in-game graphcis. FFX characters were like moving paper cut-outs.
