I remember those games on that EoFF game page. Those were so awesome. I was planning on getting a record on Snake, but I never got to accomplish that. Tetris was fun too. What was your favourite game on EoFF and did you ever make a record or got close to it?

I do not remember them. All the other Eoffers used to call me names and they wouldn't let me join in any of their Eoff games.

Ah yes, the Arcade. I rarely ever played and never set a record.

I was never close to getting the Snake record. :(

I remember playing one fantastic game of Tetris, thinking I'd done real well and would be high up in the rankings. I wasn't, and I never played it again.

How far back was this?

Two years, maybe less.

I think I had 3rd place in the Snake high score in the weekend they were first installed, but I went down after that. Pretty sure RSL had the high one afterwards.

The only thing I played was Snake, and I sucked at it. Never got anywhere near the record. Fingers aren't quick enough apparently.

I mainly played Tetris, and I was in the top 20 or top 25 for highest individual score by the time the arcade was closed, I think.

What was the point? RSL and Master Vivi always got the high scores.

The vB3 arcade works in Firefox.

It took me a while to remember what the eff you guys were talking about.

Now I remember. I think only played one game, and I can't remember the names of any of them so I'm just going to say it was tetris. I love tetris.

I liked the arcade but I could never beat Linus's score so I got mad and threw feces.

Ah yes... I remember I beat Linus for first in Breakout. This was apparently detrimental to him, because on 4/1 he commited suicide.

R.I.P. Linus.

Is there like an upgradeable version??Nah, that was EoFF: Sick Irony. That was a game based on EoFF. These were games that were actually on EoFF. Back in the day there were no "Wiki" or "Quick Links" on the top bar thing, but there was an "Arcade"!

...oh my god did I just say "back in the day"? ...I'm slowly turning into a drivelling oldbie. EoFF in 2005 is the best! :shifty:

My high score in snake is gone forever :( :( :( Do you people know how many hours I spent playing that to achive that score? Way more than I should have.

Psy, why isn't there an arcade now?!To give the oldbies something to talk about when they say, "back in the day".

Back in the day EOFF didn't have LJ, but we did have a forum called the Daily Grind that I never went to. NEVER EVEN ONCE :D

Iri, the arcade disappeared when EoFF switched from vB2 to vB3, I believe. It had mostly died out in popularity anyway.

the vb2 one didn't work in firefox and so we all said "screw this" after a while. I did have a good score in snake, but not close to RSL.

Haha, there are still five .swf games on EoFF, actually. You just have to find them. And then we will delete them because we're bastards.

EDIT: I doubt the scores are anywhere at all, though, just the games.
