That is my pie and I am eating it as I type these words.

It is a rhubarb pie, which is second only to apple.

I do not believe savoury pies count as pies, with the exception of mince pies, which are awesome. True pies are, by and large, dessert pies, however.

Discuss your preffered pies. *Eats more*

I wanna pizza pie, pizza pizza pie!

I'm actually not a big fan of pie, but I like it occasionally. PG likes pie.

Maybe, but did you know one pie has the calories of 16 cheese burgers, Mr.MILF?!!?!?

Yes, Rye. Pie indeed has plenty of calories, but there's nothing like a piece of pie, once in a while. And I will have to brag here and say that I make the obsolute best pies, especially apple. :cat:

No, and surely it depends on the pie, and it's tasty so I don't actually care.

It's comments like this that make me upset there wasn't a huge 48 hour stopover somewhere in Vancouver, BC when I flew to Hong Kong.

In other news, I LOVE PIE SO MUCH 'Tastey Pies' HAS NOTHING ON ME. NONE OF YOU DO. I LOVE SHEPHERD'S! omg POTATOES. AND BEEEEEEEEF. Yummy cow flesh grinded into a pulp then tossed in a pan with some oil to prevent burning and then cooked then you eat it and then you are yummy and feel good and it's pie so it's amazing.

BTW cheesecake isn't pie.

Dutch apple pie is the best. It's the kind with the crumbly top instead of the regular pie crust top.

Yes, I forgot about that! Lemon pie is great as well.

I have long since finished my pie, but the taste lingers like the sweet memory of a heady young woman from Hong Kong whom I slept with on a business trip.

Once upon a time, there was this place called 'America'. 'America' loved their pies. Whether it be 'Apple', 'pumpkin', or 'Rhubarb', they loved them all. One day, the magical "Four 'n' Twenty" Prince travalled far far away from their homeland of 'Australia' to this place they called 'America'. "Prince Four 'n' Twenty" was really excited to be going to 'America'. He had heard alot about their pie loving abilities. 'Australia' was also a Pie loving country, but 'America' was much bigger, and well known. When "Prince Four 'n' Twenty" arrived in 'America' he was put into a grocery store. 'Americans', who are people from 'America', would look at "Prince Four 'n' Twenty" really wierdly, because they had never seen such a thing. They would laugh and mock his contents.

"Cow? In a pie? Hahahahahahaha" said one 'American'
" Pies are only meant for fruit!" Said another.

"Prince Four 'n' Twenty" was getting really sad, because no one would eat him. The one day, someone bought him, went home and ate him.

"It was amazing!" the customer said "It was like nothing I have ever tasted before! I mean, meat, in a pie! Who would of ever thought! Those Aussies' really have some smart people!"

From then on, "Prince Four 'n' Twenty" was widly distributed, and meat pies became known in the United States Of America. And they all lived Happily Ever After.

The End.

I'm mildly amused by the fact that you are eating pie from a plate/dish hybrid clearly marked with "CEREAL", "SOUP" and "PASTA".

YOU DID! YOU DID!
YOU ATE ALL THE PIES!

-Georgie Pie!
-Mince and Cheese Pie!
-Pineapple Pie!
-Lemon Meringue Pie!
-aaaaaaaaaaaand Apple Pie!
-Wait, and Apricot Pie. But not bacon and egg pie, or custard pie, because that would just be silly. Oh, and don't forget potato-top pie, which is quite different from shepard's pie. I haven't had pie in years. What?

Naw, it is a weird plate/bowl hybrid. But it's not deep enough for cereal or soup. The flash eliminated the shadows, so you can't really tell. It is, however, perfect for puddings, plus it was the first plate which came to hand, plus you gotta love that guidance it's giving you.

But cheesecake doesn't taste anything like cake at all. Not saying that cheesecake is pie, but I don't think it's cake either. I refuse to eat cake, but cheesecake...well, I'm allergic to it, but once in awhile, a few bites aren't so bad. Cheesecake seems to be in a class of its own.

That said, pie rules all, though. Particularly...Key Lime Pie. That pie is the best evar. Bosten Creme Pie is also pretty damn good.

:D

Madame Adequate
06-13-2005, 03:59 PM
Mm, to be fair, cheesecake does have a fairly unique taste that's less to do with cake than most cakes. Nonetheless pure appearance suggests that, for the most part, it belongs to the 'cake' qualification.

Nice pie chart, BoB. But you are wrong in your other statement.
