Dr Who series finale (UK)

On Saturday, the current series of Doctor Who is finishing, what did you think of the series?

well, IF you learn to ignore the sub standard visual effects and lack of decent editing for the pace of the show. It's a witty little series with about 1 billion times more character development than the old series and half of other TV sci fi. Thing that bugs me though is that for a guy who's hiding behind his joviality he doens't break in to his "oh no!" face a lot. PLus the darleks are just crap
" oh no it's very slowly coming towards us"
" shall we run? "
"no it would be pointless."
"why?"
"plot convinence."

and it sometimes falls over the line from post modernism into camp, remember knight rider.

Haven't watched the new Doctor Who, know no one who's watched it either, and I've asked everyone I know. Everyone. If I were a writer on the show I'd take things down a more sinister route though I can tell you.
