Quicktime

Ok heres a problem, before i installed this i used to be able to watch Flash movies fine. Now after i installed Quicktime i see a broken Quicktime file image there...i installed Macromedia Flash but it still shows that broken file. Now that i removed it i cannot see the flash file like i used to before....without the Quicktime my blog..or any blog's music i cannot hear...so whats going on?

EDIT: BTW i use FireFox...IE does not seem to have this problem but i hate to open two browsers just to view flash files =/

I did install the Macromedia Flash for Netscape..i get the same broken Quicktime Image. FF seems to recognize SWF files as Quicktime and not as Macromedia...

I'd say you made quicktime be associated with flash files. Go to your quicktime preferences and change that or something.

It used to do that with pngs in IE for me and it sucked -_-

I did went to the MIME settings and unchecked the Flash tick..still does it..-.- wtf..

The thing is that it shows that file and i unchecked everything that i want Quicktime to handle..which is nto flash files...

Its actually a Panther Scheme that is made possible on your Windows thanks to Style XP...however i still really need help on this..i unchecked the MIME settings and i reinstalled both...=/ wth..

Ok maybe uninstall quicktime, reinstall the macormedia flash player then, INSTEAD OF INSTALLING QUICKTIME AGAIN, try this:

Unfortunetly i just installed Alternative before you posted..still does the same damn thing..-_-;
