1. I dunno, Yams made an announcement and then BoB made an announcement about the same thing. CK++ would be more my alley, but hey, whatever language floats you boat.
2. The staff just felt a bit undermanned and decided to promote a few people, and after a lot of deliberation (like...more pages than I can count on my fingers, at LEAST) we three were picked. That'll probably be it for a while, unless someone steps down or something.

honestly, I'm just surprised that staff isn't more of a revolving door than it already is. Staffing a board as large and as strictly run as this must be hellish.
