I drew these when I was 12 - 13. I could have been really good at art, but I stopped at it. It almost makes me want to pick up art again. Pastel drawings, the deer one is colored pencil. Pictures of pictures, so quality is bad and some of them are cut off, but... ^^ They're pretty good, for a kid. Some I made up, some I copied from other pictures.

Monet was the first to come to my mind too, I love his work, and these too! Very warm, soft drawings. I can almost feel the atmosphere and smell the trees. Incredible. I like the second one, with the tree and the river, most. It's so .. warm. I feel like I want to wrap it around me like it was a warm blanket <3

That monkey stuff is a "tad" different, but they're also quite stunning. Feels like pop-art. And good pop-art for that matter. I like the "hopeful" one more - irony is the best humour there is ;)

Thank you ^^ I love impressionism.. Monet is definitely one of my favorite artists.

magicroundabout, I stopped because... I used to go to this class every week for around a year or two, and I produced one of those drawings every time I went (I ended up with a ton xD Unfortunately, the beginning ones were pretty bad ^^ But it showed that I had room for improvement and did improve). It was a two hour class, so it didn't take me forever to draw those but... once I stopped going to art class because I moved, I just sort of lost motivation. xD I need someone to whip me into shape and get me to do things...

Thanks ^^ And black orb, I dunno, maybe! Like I said, I stopped doing pastel drawings, but I should pick it up someday to see where I am. The monkey one were done solely on the computer, with my mouse, and they are a totally different style so I wouldn't really compare, though :p

I love that first one of the mountains, it's gorgeous. You should really get back into it, you obviously have a real talent.
