Sorry about putting it in EotW, I just thought it'd be better suited there instead of GC.

I have Welsh & Irish in me.

That's a citizenship test, if anything passing that makes you LESS british.

I got 8, but some of their answers are wrong.
1. should be B
7. Should be A
10 could be any of them so it's a stupid question
15 should be A

Thanks Tiswas for compounding my hatred of the BBC.

I'm a quarter Welsh; I've been dealing with the guilt my entire life.
I'm 1/8 welsh it hurts me to know that.

Slothy
06-18-2005, 01:14 PM
I got 6. I'm Canadian though so I have an excuse for a low score. At least half of those were just a matter of guessing correctly.

06-18-2005, 03:24 PM
I think the BBC is having a joke. Other than BBC News 24.
It seemed very un-BBC like, it was sort of funny, not much BBC stuff is in my opinion, apart from Little Britain, but that goes without saying because it rocks :D
I don't really care that I only got ten, I am British and I always have been!

Dr.K
06-18-2005, 04:11 PM

boy. only 5 right.

gee.

But, I suppose that's to be expected. I'm scottish, not british. I think that once everybody recognizes and acknowledges the innate and total superiority of Scotland over England that everybody will be much happier.

I got seven right.

Question 10 is the best one of them all.

My performance was relatively poor - a mere 6. Mainly because I answered the questions how I thought they should be answered, rather than considering what a tacky guidebook might say. That's why I said that potential conflict of interest - rather than fees - was "very important when engaging a solicitor".

06-19-2005, 10:50 PM
I got 8. That doesn't bother me as I'm as English as Apple pie. I say a key component to being English is ignoreing all else that goes on around you, ignoring any forms of political correctness, sticking it to those elected uppity wotsits in the house of commons and engaging in all forms of mild eccentricity.
Huzzah!
