Terra and Celes

I know i'm gonna sound real dumb, but i'm really confused!

How comes Terra and Celes look like each other????

Like many character designers, including Nomura, Amano doesn't have too much range as far as facial structure goes. But, while other character designers can cover this up by giving their characters all manner of extravagant hair colors and such, Amano has a hard time drawing characters with hair that isn't white or blonde.

To my knowledge, Amano wasn't the one doing those CGI's for the renewed PS version?
And Amano's illustrations of Celes and Terra are not so much alike as those CG pics.

I've seen some CG's that are just _slightly_ green, but that's all :/

Well of course, everything is based on Amano's illustrations :) I didn't say that, I said that Amano didn't do them. :P

Anyways, I don't much care about those CG's cause they don't resemble the characters that I originally created in my mind (though I only own the PS version of the game, I skipped the beginning FMV and didn't much pay mind to the CG caps in the extras section (or whatever it was). I like the small pixelated characters a lot better ^^

Truly if there hadn't been costumes I'd have had a hard time telling them apart. The FMV storyboards (that you can see if you have the Playstation version as bonus images) certainly were by someone else and you've made me want to take a look as who the FMV character designer is. It doesn't look like Nomura...

Those beginning FMVs confused me, too. Why not just give Terra her green hair and be done with it? I know their designs were based off of Amano's original work but still. Terra should have green hair. End of conversation!

In those pictures Terra has a longer face while Celes has a more square face. Also Terra's nose seems to be more "cut" and pointed while Cele's is rounded off. Cele's eyes also look more "stonerish".
