I finally give in to my temptation and brough FFXI today and about to install it on my computer. Sadly, there are no PS2 version in Thailand. I don't even know if Playonline will accept my credit card or not. And I just realize that I'm quite a FF addict. If it works, I will move closer to fullfill my goal of playing every FF game. I still haven't played crystal chronological on gamecube yet. BTW, I will come back and ask for opinion about good FFXI server for PC and other advice for XI for newbies later :D

Best server I can answer not for you, my favorite server? Midgardsormr. Why? Lots of people from eoff play on it. (if lionx was here i'm sure he'd give you a linkpearl).

Yes, many of us are on Midgardsormr. I suggest that above all others. I left Ramuh to try Midgardsormr and went from having no fun at all to having tons and tons of fun.

After more than 5 hours of installing and updating, I finally get to play FFXI. I wonder if I can ask for a world pass to midgardsormr or is it by invitation only? And Ccn I change the server everytime i log on. Thank

Midgard and Red Lotus somehow got put up as THE LS for EoFF..i dont konw how that went but lol it certainetly feels that way @_@.

Thank for the info. The sad thing is that I have a problem with my gamepad and can not move correctly in the game. I probably have to change back to keyboard and get used to the control again:(
