I checked in www.gamespot.com
and it says that the release date of FFXII is 03/01/2006
this might be the official release date for the game
what do you think about this?

doubt it really, i reckon a concrete date for japan will be given at squenix's event next month, and a US release near the start of the next financial year.

I think this could be the real date because usually gamespot only puts out a release date when they know for sure that it's the real one. That's why they never put down the "4/12/05" release date or any of the others. This date sounds right to me.

I can confirm that this is not confirmed. :) I read the FF news all over the web on a daily basis, and that includes the stuff over at Gamespot, and they've not once reported a confirmed release date for FFXII.

Finally someone to confirm my thoughts!
I also checked around the web for this date but found nothing about it
I was posting the date here to see if anyone heard about this aswell
but I guess this date is false...Or maybe not?

I would imagine that they are just guessing. That would probably be the date that they list for any game which is being released during a certain season, however realistically (as we all know) a season lasts for a lot longer than just one day, and it could be any of the days in that season.

No, that's not real, as Loony BoB and Larahl already stated. I hear that they might be announcing the release date at that....convention, thing, in Tokyo or somewhere, where you have to pay to get in. They're anouncing some big news over there, and the release date's likely to be it.
