What would you do if you were given a million Pounds? Would you keep it all for yourself or would you give it (or use it) to help others?

I would help others I think...I dont need lots of money, sure I want it but I dont need it. Insted of giving it to a charity id make my own so that I know that id really be making a difference!

The rest? Well, it wouldn't really bother me all that much, to be honest. I wouldn't need it for anything. Maybe I would invest it in some property.

Seriously though, I'd invest everything into my career. Nothing like a lot of green to get on top of the game fast!

With the money I earned from my career built from the ground up in complete regard to my $1000000 investment, I'd buy a huge house with wooden floors in which I'd set up an intricate (tiny) hotwheels raceway that spanned the entire house: fascinating to see without being an obstacle. I don't really like swimming, but I'd have an indoor pool anyway. The massive room in which the pool would reside would have a roof that opens for fresh air and sunlight. I prefer an indoor pool to avoid nature invading my waters. I hate when foliage and dead bugs pollute the swimming area.
I'd buy the cars whose body designs have fascinated me since I was child. Cars like the Corvette '67. Eventually, each of my children would have one which I'd have customized specifically for them.

My major priority in all this would actually be to research a way to find everyone and anyone responsible for creating and distributing adware and spyware. Then I'd hire a bounty hunter squad to hunt them all down and return them to my castle where I'd group them all together and have my dungeonmaster, the most wicked and merciless psycho I can find, do horrible things to them one by one as all the others watched at gunpoint unable to do anything, whether it be to interfere or to run or to cover their eyes for their torment.
My reasoning is that like any criminal whose activities directly affect and harm the average innocent citizen, these hackers deserve far greater anguish and torment than is humanly possible to manifest.
After all this, I'd send any still in their right minds out into the world to warn any other foolish enough to consider distributing adware or spyware of just who they'll be visiting.

That'll leave me apparently with £800,000...

£300,000 = House in Edinburgh, Scotland.
£150,000 = House in Auckland, NZ (Navah House, to be specific).
That's... £350,000 in the bank. I can live with that. I'd buy a couple of boats, a cheap bach in Corromandel and put the rest in the bank and return to work, probably. Working will be a lot more fun when I can actually do whatever I want with the money. I'd also rent out the houses I'm not currently using. Although I'd be pretty damned strict with who gets to stay in Navah House, though, as it's the house I grew up in.

That means I can travel in and out of NZ, US and UK as I please for the rest of my life. I'd be happy with that for sure.

Of course, should I marry Sarah someday, I wouldn't need the Green Card... so that'd be an extra US$1,000,000. I'd probably just buy a lot of random stuff with that, like furniture and vacations and whatnot.

Ah, what would I do?

I'll probably put a large portion of it in the bank and in investments, give a quantity as zakat and with the rest I'll buy a beautiful villa on the beach with a gym and a swimming pool, a big big boat, a porsche, a BMW, a cat, designer clothes, really cool electronic gadgets and start my own magazine and maybe a publishing company.
