I've heard of them but not any songs by them.

I'll go find some of their songs later on.

Is that what you wanted to download? :p

I'm the one who told Rye about them in the first place, so you can be sure I surely do like them, a lot. xD

The skill of blending two such alien styles of music (Put aside that at a level of pure construction all music is very similar) is quite something. Not to mention Palmer's compelling, often funny, sometimes scary, and generally thought-provoking lyrics.

All in all a startlingly good act. My fave tracks are Girl Anachronism and Half-Jack.

I like them, and caught them (a bit) at Download. I can't find their album in shops so I'm annoyed. I hate shopping on the internet.

are these the man and woman who dress up as mimes?

Yeah, Mr. MILF and Denmark introduced me to them. They really are amazing. It's the perfect blend of piano and rock. Girl Anachronism, Missed Me, Good Day, Jeep Song, Coin Operated Boy, Gravity and Slide are my favourites, but I love them all on the CD.

Plus Brian is super hot, especially with no make up on. And yes, they dress as mimes.

And their video for Coin Operated Boy owned. The best part was the "I can't even take him in the bath!" part.

*continues to gush praise for The Dresden Dolls*

I went through a two-day phase when I just listened to them obsessively, but I grew out of it just as fast.

They're a good band, I'll listen to a couple of songs every now and again, but there's just...something, indescribable about them that just makes me want to change to something else after a few songs.

I've heard some of their songs. I don't like the singing. The piano is good, though.

Yeah, Amanda has a unique voice. This is one of the rare times where I'll say that she doesn't have a great voice, but I love it anyway. For the songs she sings, she sounds good, but she has a very limited range. It's imperfect, which somehow enhances the songs, as they're all songs that aren't for amazing voices, if you get what I mean. She even admits her voice isn't good in one of her songs, Perfect Fit.
