Emiliana Torrini is one of my favorite singers in the world.
She sounds so much like Björk, and her song "To Be Free" was issued in the movie "Crazy/ Beautiful" with Kirsten Dunst. Please tell me what you think about her, she sounds so much like Björk, only better. Listen to the song. :)

Hey, I'm listening to her right now. What a coincidence. :) And I completely agree with you; when I first heard her, I thought she was Bjork. She has an amazing voice; the accent works perfectly with every song I've heard her sing.

I saw the video for Sunny Road on television a while ago. I really, really liked it. So I'm definitely going to buying Fisherman's Woman soon.

Heard Gollum's Song and also that one. She has a pretty voice, but I prefer Björk, I just think her style is special, like no other.

You know Emiliana Torrini is Icelandic just like Björk, which is probably why they sound the same. Emiliana is good. I like her songs she did with Thievery Corporation.

Which one of her CDs do you recommend, anyone? I have to put this one my list of CDs to buy after Schoolyard Hero's CD and Do Me Bad Thing's CD.

I really should pick that up. I just listened to "To Be Free"; it's worthy of my money, I see. *sigh* I need to get out there with my music a little more.
