Blade: The Crystal Shadows

Yeah... games are fun to play, awesomer to make.

rmxp is awesome to use

the concept of the plot (still needs improving):
how it starts: it all begins in the small town of hyouga.
Losin (our hero) has an ability to predict where monsters attack.
the game opens up with the first one predicted to be near a concert in the town square.

he arrives just in time to watch the entertainment, through the middle of the song being performed by a songstress from a town other than hyouga.

after you hear the monsters eerie cry, the onlookers at the concert flee... exept Losin and Jennifer.

Jennifer wants to come along with Losin, the reason... *to become stronger* and though Losin doesnt believe in that obvious lie... he happily welcomes her and alligns for the fight.

(i wont give away any more... nop, not even the reason why its called the crstal shadows.)

1.perfect catterpillar system
2.really awesome looking menu that monitors your location, exp, hp, mp, etc...

hell no, thats rpg cliche is just under revenge in the bad overall objectives list.

theres going to be alot of neat things you can do in here... like... fighting bosses.

most rm2k,rm2003 games bosses ivolved hitting a boss with the strongest attack until it dies... myne doesn't... im actually finding it tactically exillirating.

one technique a certain boss will start using is: when Jennifers HP gets below the 10% the boss will start peltering you with holy needles causing sleep and poison.

Sounds like a Good game! :p
But I am really intrigued about how you are going to have tactical bosses. Every boss can easily be slaughtered with a few strong attacks. Give an example please (something other than the one you said, I don't find that very...tactical)

like as in, there reasonably challenging with a wide variety of attakcs, events trigger differant styles of fighting with the bosses, making you have to think on your toes if your to survive.

you actually need to use items to effectively to survive... bosses have strengths and weaknesses (elemental... monster type) ... sometimes you might need to change your parties battle roles as the boss changing his/hers behaviour. stuff like that.

I understand what you mean, I just don't see how you are going to make it 'tactical' as such.
